HOW TO PREPARE CHICKEN JELLOF RICE

PROCEDURE

  • Cut chicken into desired sizes
  • Wash properly
  • Put chicken inside a clean rinsed pot
  • Add;
  • Blended ginger, garlic and tumeric
  • Onions
  • fresh and dry pepper to taste
  • add cube known Maggi, star Maggi, chicken Maggi
  • condiments to desired taste
  • salt
  • Stir the chicken to ensure spice is evenly distributed.
  • Allow the chicken to suck the stock for 5mins,add little or no water
  • Place pot on fire for 15mins
  • Stir and bring pot down

  • Put chicken in a colander

  • Place empty pot on fire

  • Pour oil inside pot, allow for 5mins

  • fry chicken

  • Wash rice and boil

  • Parboil

  • Put rice in colander

  • Place pot with oil on fire

  • Add tomatoes paste and stir (5mins)

  • Add sliced onions store (2mins)

  • Add blended fresh tomatoes and pepper stir for 10mins

  • Add curry and condiments
    *Add bay leaf

  • Add stock and water allow to biol

  • Add rice inside the pot

  • Add blended crayfish and small dried fish

  • Add Maggi to taste

  • Add salt

  • Allow for 15mins

  • Add chopped carrot, green beans green peppers etc.

  • Store allow for 3min
