My valentine surprise day trip.

Dasibaa, n ti dabaayi, direct translation good morning, our two days lol doesn't sound right I know but it simply means good morning its been a while in dagbaani the local dialect of the dagombas in the northern region of Ghana.
I had a beautiful surprise valentine day gift and I was excited taking pictures and waiting to share with everyone here but my surface pro had other plans hahah,
I haven't been able to connect to the internet over a few days now because of some settings but its all good now.

Valentine day they say is a day of love, I say everyday is a day of love and valentines day is scam until I was taken on a beautiful road trip to the central region of Ghana and shown it may not be a scam after all 😂.

About a week ago Leif took me to this place a friend of his owns 30 to 50 minutes drive from our place depending on whether you take the main road or a short cut through the town, our first stop was a beer garden which looks similar to the one place I enjoyed and always talk about when I was in Germany.

I just love connecting with nature while relaxing and that's exactly what I got some chilled soft drink and medium size pizza to go with it while the trees blew some fresh air and the birds sang melodious tunes.

After a few hours of relaxing ,we went on to our next and final destination the old fort Good hope at the sea, it had a beautiful view from the top across the sea, although I hate height I enjoyed being up there after climbing up a lot of stairs, I don't know much about this old fort but I was told it was built mainly as a trade center during the colonial times, one could easily see the castle was guarded heavily with weapons which are all rusty now.

There wasn't much oral information on the place as it has been turned to a hotel/guest house and bar, I was happy and full and I prayed the universe gives me the strength and wisdom to make my husband the happiest.
