Hello there family, i have been busy the whole week and its quite hard to concentrate on a lot of things at the same , but finally am here to share something i enjoy and am sure most people do too.
Farming or gardening is something i learnt to do and enjoy when i was very little ,because i grew up in a place where every household had a bit of farmland to produce their own food when its starts to rain.
When i met Leif i told him about wanting to start a farm and surprising he had one of his own but of course i wanted one that was lucrative considering i wasn't working by then , Leif introduced me to Tala another Persian American farm lover who was starting her own urban farm company in Accra where i started working as a farmer among two others.
Joon is the name of Tala company which in her tribe meant food for the soul or something, we plant seeds, sell plants and construct garden seed bed and wall beds for plants.
fast forward i was in charge of a project a few months back and i took some picture to share.
M project was constructing a garden space for a natural skin food company in Accra, i together with Tala who doubles as the space designer and manager and our carpenter took a one hour drive to Achimota in Accra where the company was located, along with us was some healthy seedlings of spinach, lemongrass, aloe vera, Oregano, spring onions, black soil, woodchips and coco Pead from our farm.
James our carpenter constructed and mounted the beds on the wall, Tala and i did the soil profiling in the and transplanted the various seedling we brought with us into the soil in the bed, the company was pleased and we got paid.
