yesterday i posted about a project i was incharge of with my bcompany team here in accra, skin goumen is the name of the company the we were doing the project for.
so as some of might know plants can be a bit difficult to nature if you don't have time or the resources to keep them alive and healthy.
i was called by skin gourmet to the garden space because a few of the marigold plants didn't make it in the first week and that meant we had find out why they did not survive, find a possible solution and then replace them.
i was told a whole bed of seedlings did not survive the first week after installation of the wall beds, so i took some healthy marigold plants with me and with permission from Tala i got a uber to skin gourmet, upon arrival a gentleman was there waiting to show me exactly what was not surviving .
After a few minutes of observation i noticed the top of the bed looked wet but when i put my finger down into the soil it was dry and hot down there, so i realized the bed didn't get enough water because of its position when they are watering the garden and the heat of the sun in soil temperature was not suitable for the plants health.
I had a talk with the gentlemen who seem to be in charge of watering the garden and gave him some advice on how to water the garden, usually watering in the morning and evening is best for plants ,watering in the afternoon with the heat from the sun is like watering your plants with hot water.
Apart from from that one bed, all other plants where doing just fine.
I have experience of it, because my mother used to say that plants are also created by God it also feels heat and fire🔥 as a human so we should watered it in the morning or in the evening otherwise it will die.
hi there is nice to know you are a plant lover and Mom is right, watering morning and evening is the best.
