Camping with the boys part 1

I love adventure, i guess that is one of the reasons i got married to an adventurer.

John a friend of Leif's who has been touring around Ghana in his van he has named Akwele posted a very nice video of his adventure to the western region, swimming in a lagoon ,drinking hot chocolate and sleeping in his fan with two other people caught my attention on Instagram when leif shared it,
i told leif how i have never had the opportunity to go camping and so leif decided to pull up his boys and take me camping.

My first time camping ,i didn't know how to pack but with the help of my personal adventurer we took two baskets and filled one with vegetables and the other with fruits, Leif got a crate of beer for him and his boys, soon we were on our way to the Volta region with Leif's popular vouge wagon BUCKET .

kelechi our neighbour and leifs buddy is an adventurer too mostly rock climbing or sky diving , anyways kelechi was packed and waiting for us to pick him up at his door when we got there.

finally were on the road after picking up john and Eli another very good friend of Leif, we bought some plantain chips and pop corn and off we began the real journey on the accra,aflao road.

after a 2 hours of riding with the boys on bucket ,we finally got to our first destination, Eli's village called Avevime, it was getting late we started scouting for a perfect camping spot, wasn't easy but we finally got a suitable spot set camp, Leif tied two hammocks for myself and him, kelechi and John set their tents, leif had and extra hammock for Eli soon wee were all settled we made a camp fire the boys drinking their beer already and me eating some apples from the fruit basket.
