A few days after our annual fashion week glitz Africa fashion week, i was selected amongst some of the best international models for a show that was held by the south African business community in Ghana .
this was the first time in my career as a model working with international brands all over Africa, and the best part was that i got to open the show with south African talented designer Tula sindi.
This was not only the most payed job i ever had but also the most fun, the south African designers were also friendly and down to earth, usually we meet bossy and intimidating designers here in Ghana who mostly wont pay your you enough.
Anyways amongst selected models was lyza from Ghana and Kathy from Cameroon, it was fun reconnecting with them on this amazing opportunity we were given.
The show lasted about 12 hours on a Sunday, we began rehearsal while the stage was being set up for the show, we practice opening and closing posses and formations for hours because each designer out of 12 wanted a unique one, soon around 3 pm it was time for makeup and hair by mac cosmetics ,they had two sections one for hair and the other for makeup with about 4 models each to a stylist dahm we got the royal treatment haha, then the show began at about 7pm and end at around 11 pm with an after party, we eat , we drank well i don't drink my colleagues did and we partied till 2am and then when it was time to go home we ordered uber in groups and shared the bill.
