I had a splendid day, but before i give details of my activities, i will like to give a general knowledge on fish feed.

A little comparison, as humans needs food, so do fish. As the food needs to be balance for essential growth and metabolism, so do fish needs properly formulated feeds.
Fish feed has protein, carbohydrate, vitmin and minerals etc. The size of the fish determine the size of the feed to be used in feeding them. If you use a 6mm feed to feed a two weeks old baby fish, the fish will not take it and it will pollute the water.

Fish feed can be floating or sinking feed. Farmers prefer floating feeds because it helps for easy observation of the fish.

Back to my today's activity

I had no lectures today, so i went to my fish house to take care of my fishes.
I fed them twice today. As i was feeding, i was observing their manner of feeding, and it was a fascinating view.

I was feeding catfish with pellets. I do enjoy how they rush the food.

When i was feeding the ornamental small fishes.

As am feeding, i watch as they come up to display their beautiful colors, and how they gradually pick their food.
