Banchan ( Korean side dishes) is essential part of Korean meal culture. They are always served with every meals and
meant to be shared with people eating, whereas the western meal is served in distinct courses.
Kimchi is one of essential side dishes, always on the table and made hundreds of different varieties( or recipes)
In order to access korean cuisine easily, baek Kimchi ( non-spicy kimchi) was made as a salad.
this kimchi made 2 days ago hasn’t ripened ( fermented) yet so it is still fresh, crunchy and salty. Therefore it goes well with salads.
Tips for cooking
Boil rice for around 30 mins - when water boils and then put the rice.
Rinse the cooked rice with cold water to remove starch.
Add kimchi juice into the rice and mix them well
