Hello Nature folks! I need your help identifying this little cactus. It was donated to me by a neighbour when I start building my rock garden on the corner outside my house. The garden has gone from overgrown and ugly to a succulent rock garden suitable to the stony ground that we have here.
This beauty has been planted in the spot for 3 months and suddenly bloomed with the beautiful huge pink trumpet like flowers. Both bloomed for just 1 day and then were gone the following morning. Any ideas? I tried to do a search and came up with a couple options but I’m no expert so would love your advice. Can you see all the cute babies sprouting from it!
I basically garden with anything that can just be stuck in the ground and is water wise. We had a drought for 2 years and recently had the water restrictions lifted so we are very accustomed to using minimal water.
This guy seems happy where is was planted and I can’t wait to see if he’s going to grow or stay smaller.
Cool! Have a great day.
