If it wasn't for the Nag Hammadi codices being discovered by Egyptian farmers in 1945 (which was then sold to the blackmarket but later all recovered and turned into a museum) I probably wouldn't have ever really delve into the realm of Lilith and probably neither you would have heard of it. But this explains to me perfectly the increase interest on the subject.
From my understanding, the topic of Lilith is of gnostic origin. What I am meaning here is that the story of Lilith was firstly deep dived by our ancient gnostics ancestors. Another important factor is how brutal and extensive gnostics were censored by the catholic and jewish powers. It's putting it lightly to even say censored as many of their scriptures have been burned throughout history and many gnostics were assassinated to near extinction, but that's a different story for a different day. Being a gnostic in those ancient days was dangerous to say the least. And it is them that got me intrigued into this.
Today, I want to share as much as I have already been bestowed upon me on this subject, as short and to the point for there might be many major points to cover. It is in fact a very deep study with a wide discussion still undergoing. Is Lilith a backstabbing cheating slut?
It's near impossible to find which is the oldest written history of "Eleleth" but from what I have read over the millennium, her first appearance came from the Génesis story.

Since this stems from Génesis, and Génesis stems from sumarian origin,... I guess I have contradictions as to this being a gnostic origin. More so, the gnostics have a strong tendency to view such matters in esoteric light.
As the story goes, in relation to Lilith, Adam was an androgynous bisexual jealous of all the other animals having their partners. He thus committed to acts of beastiality but was unsatisfied in heart. (Surely this is before he took from the fruit of the tree of knowledge thus Adam being a mere lower intelectual animal, therefore innocent of his acts for innocence was still with him. He had no idea of what good and evil were yet)
He calls upon "god" in grievance for a mate after growing ill of his unsatisfactory pleasures. "God" thus makes his first mistake and creates a woman, being made of lesser things than Adam but delusional to believe they were equally made. She would not bed him for this and thus went away to the red river and bore "a hundred children daily" with demons.
Adam cries for "god" again to rectify what has happened. He tells "god" his story causing angels to search for Lilith. When found, they were shocked to see her. Bearing many children. They demanded to return to Adam but guilt and shame had already taken over and would not return. So "god" punished her by having her slay her own children 100 daily.
There are other accounts of her appearance as being the one who killed Job's children, so this begs the question, was Job a sexual victim of Lilith? This would explain as to how he had lost everything in his story. My theory is that she divorced him and took everything and destroyed his property in spite. But it was the devils work in the esoteric realm working through Lilith to cause a storm upon the innocent life of Job. Lilith thus is the tornado that ravaged Job's land and house.
What a psychopathic bitch. Literally the worst to happen to a man. But the moral here was therafter that he would be repayed tenfold for his unwavering faith in his creator. Looks like the jokes on her now. Job os richer than ever and she is left in the dust with her inner turmoils to rot.
Another theory I have is that Lilith is just an idea that represents an evil force existent in men and woman for "wo|man" stems from man. (WO=OF // OF-MAN=WO-MAN. Get it?)
Lilith as this evil entity, makes sense to me. She is the uncontrolled sexual monster due to the blasphemous acts against the god head via the energy displacement via through the excessive act of the physical orgasm.
Were thus these "angels" actually inner angels, who within Adam and by the god heads orders, sought to "punish" adam in order to help him overcome his self induced suffering?
Seems like Adam was starting to grow up...
I know not of what Lilith actually is. I can pretty much make up anything about her... him...(androgynous?) She could just be another symbol of the Greeks "Medusa" which in turn is just a sexual symbol of an uncontrolled sexual deviant. Her many snakes over her head indicating her mind is perverse, the snakes tail from the waist down is another strong indicator.
Lilith has appeared in various forms throughout all of human history. She could be a representation of Mary Madeline, the common whore, the cheating husband or wife, the pervert within man.
