I've been sitting on this one for a while. I just have been waiting for the right nudge to sit down and right this post and share some ideas. I guess that nudge was seeing the price of Blurt all but hit the floor earlier today.

I believe it's time for the entire platform to get pro-active. It was not that long ago I was splashing the "It's better on Blurt" banner all over Hive, along with my hive cabal expose. This resulted in a solid handful of people and investment to come over to Blurt while causing a lot of stir and noise getting the Blurt name out there.

I'm fully aware those tactics were controversial and I'm not suggesting we repeat that. But the point being made is that I was highly pro-active and it had an effect to one extent or another. Now let's talk about...

Operation Reach Out!

Now that I'm re-positioned here on Blurt as a respected top twenty witness I feel there is an opportunity to possibly organize a super large upvote/payment that can be used as a bargaining chip to influencers on you-tube or other platforms who have at least a few thousand "real" followers.

Most of these social media content creator's goals are to get sponsored and make money one way or another. With the right influencer a deal could be made where they promote blurt to their "outside" audience in one way or another on a regular basis. They cross post their latest content to Blurt and they get a once a day huge up-vote guaranteed.

Hurdles

First thing that comes to mind is to ensure we are getting what we pay for. So I believe the influencer that wants to take us up on the offer should be vetted well and kept an eye on to make sure they are keeping up their end of the bargain.

Secondly, how do we organize this VIP influencer super vote?

On Hive or Steemit, I would just create an account and ask everyone to follow it's votes trail on hive.vote and problem solved. So that is totally open for suggestion.

I've got half a million Blurt, Plus another 1.5 million from @megadrive with the @curationcoconut account to vote with. But I don't think that is nearly enough. Especially with the price this low. So this can only be done if other large accounts get on board with this project.

Who do we reach out to?

Blurt offers a monetary investment vehicle in the crypto world and it offers a place for those struggling on other platform with censorship and free speech. Given what Blurt offers the obvious "influencer match" would be those who blog about crypto and those currently dealing with censorship/deplatforming on other sites.

The first person I plan to reach out to is @lukewearechange. During my Hive debacle. I had some brief friendly interaction with him and never followed up. He has a sizable audience and website. He was posting on Hive but for coming out against the vaccines and more, he was at the time blanket down-voted on Hive.

I feel he may be a good candidate to reach out to. See if he'd be interested in posting on blurt, with an added opportunity to get a daily super vote if he places a link to Blurt on his website or something like that...

At the moment I don't have a super vote to offer, but if that can be organized, this is how I would use it. So I'll be waiting to "reach out" until this super vote can be organized. In the mean time, who else can we reach out to? Who can you reach out to?

Reward Those Who Reach Out

I believe anyone being pro-active and posting about who they are reaching out to should be entitled to a super vote as well, especially if they are able to bring someone real good to the table.

That being said this project can only get off the ground with the help of a few large accounts organizing their vote power, then motivated users willing to put time into reaching out.

Lukewearechange is just an example. I'll literally start doing youtube searches and more and try to find good candidates that may be very willing and helpful to get the word out about Blurt.

I'll be interested to see in the comments if such an idea can gain support, momentum, and come to fruition. Nothing to lose and everything to gain, especially at .003 Blurt as the crypto space in whole continues to search for a bottom.
