A little also depends on someone’s status too like if Gordon Ramsay comes into my restaurant and criticises my food I’ll listen even if he’s a bit rough In his communication style cause he has something valuable to share and is wanting to help by sharing, it’s worth putting up with a bit of ego to hear it.
Re the deal? I haven’t struck any kind of deal with anyone, I just have access to a delegation account to upvote people, there are no rules with it and if I feel like not doing it anymore I can stop tomorrow. It was actually my comment in a thread where I suggested it because it largely went unused or was just used to upvote the same two people so I am glad to see I can spread it out a bit more. I’ve actually never hated megadrive at all. I did complain about some of his actions very openly and I don’t see that happen anymore. I’ll always stand up for free speech and not stopping people from earning money for an opinion. I can’t soeak about printed stake cause I truly have no idea whatsoever on how you tell these things and without some basic understanding can’t form any opinion on it. Maybe if someone can actually sit down and explain it in a basic 101 way I could try and form some kind of opinion but most of the conversation on it just goes over my head.
Cool - I'm pretty wary after more than six years on these blockchains - but if you are happy with the set up at this point that is great. It's not usually in my nature to be on the fence but in this case I think things have been getting a bit overheated!
I fight for certain things that I really feel are core elements to fight for then not on others. Everyone has to choose their battles or you would be fighting all day lol. I actually don’t mind site rules, as long as they apply to everyone equally and no one is blacklisted from earning, I also don’t mind perosnal muting at the end of the day if someone mutes everyone they end up with no content. Like I said I truly see these chains as a chance for artists to make some more money to supplement their creative pursuits because I know how hard it is to get started and stick to your true authenticity when doing so much ‘free work’ to get started. I built a whole career in photography and know how useful these blogs would have been at that time. For me curating actually allows me to build the things I value about these chains and I know other people value other things. The only things that would stop me curating was being told I couldn’t curate the people I wished to. I don’t mind being told don’t upvote nudity, swearing etc as it’s someone else’s stake and they can have rules absolutely... although we don’t have rules, but I would only really decline this opportunity if I started being unable to upvote people I wished to or I was told to downvote ppl etc other than that even if I don’t think the site is perfect I’ll continue to do what I can to help individuals blogging and the site grow. as you can see I was willing to get into arguments, get my own posts downvoted and leave a site I was earning 80 -150 dollars plus a post on juSt to follow my values. My values might be different to others tho, if ppls are so so different I do think at some point they have to consider just leaving rly or building new front ends I think even megadrive supports new free ends rly that help keep everyone happy.

On one of your other replies you mentioned Bastyon and not being into phones...
I hate phones and only use mine to send about three one line texts a week - I never use it for anything else, I keep it in a different room and don't answer any calls.
But Bastyon runs as both an app and a website. And the app works on PC's as well as tablets or phones
I use both - I use the app running 24/7 on a laptop to run a node which pays me about US$30 a day, and swap between website and app on both PC and tablet.

Yeah towards my end on hive I was regularly getting 60/80 dollars sometimes 120 and I got 450 dollRs on a travel one that got obliterated down to 80 by whales. 40 /20 was like my lower end. I still walked away from it and got involved in arguments defending ppl getting downvoted. Never say I’m not someone behind my principles that money was useful too as I lost every single bit of work over covid
Yes - once I started posting about the covid hoax and the death jabs I had all my posts downvoted to zero from that point on - Hive is definitely deep state controlled in my opinion.
But I didn't make much from posting anyway - only about 2-10 dollars a post. I was never in any way cabal approved.
Where I did well was in buying 250k of hive at 9 cents and selling them for 90 cents - after that I was just mocking them really, until I lost interest.
I genuinely couldn’t be in there I acruallt sabotaged it purposely at the end to make sure I could never be tempted to go back on as it was so bad for me psychologically and energetically I just felt the energy was so icky but then kept getting tempted back cause it was such easy money. I just rly had to make it so I couldn’t go back on in the end.

Very true - but I don't see Blurt tokens as an investment at this point - they are more like monopoly money that makes using the platform more interesting - but they do stop spam brilliantly - that is one of the best features of Blurt I think, along with no down voting
I didn’t read it all but I think something similar to her on that topic and it’s why I now use mute and see the lesson that I don’t need to finish off every conversation to the bitter end lol. It’s a field day for energy vampires and it’s perfectly acceptable to just not bother or want to reply to someone’s comment and just say have a nice day. It can be a real waste of energy. Like right now I’m in between leg squats at the gym that’s a decent use but if it eats into productive time which it has many times for me on conversations that are not mutually enjoyable then it’s rly not even being nice, it’s kind of being fake rly. @frot....it s easy to paint a picture of corruption and mal intent from megadrive and now myself and others who have been pushed up into certain positions...but now on the inside looking out and in good communication with everyone I used to despies....I can with 100% certaintly tell you, things are more complicated than assumed, things take longer to get done too. Part of this is because non of us earn shit at a half penny blurt, and all of us have other priorities outside of blurt.
Ofcourse foolish decision have been made in the past, but again with me, outofthematrix UVmag all in good relations and in good communication with megadrive....he now has some very good people around him, and he can and is leaning on us to help drive this thing in the right direction.

So, if you and other s think I personally have changed...I have not. Im just busy keeping an eye on things in the private discord chat. Where decisions are made before going public. I see one of my main roles as making sure no horrible ideas somehow slip to the top. Meanwhile Im avoiding drama and conflict which just puts attention on BS negativity and wastes my time.

Also, I ll soon be starting a new business account for my real life business here on Blurt. And it will demonstrate why the mute button is extremely important for the individual account owner and I do not at all see it as a blanket censorship on the platform, cause it clearly is not. Im in full favor of my page is my page and I can write whatever, post whatever, and mute whoever....my blog, my user experience. I think its for the best, especially when I start my business account. I just can t have people trashing me and my business on my blog for paying customers to see. Without the mute button for this instance I would be forced to use another platform....like facebook.
As I said to Ultraviolet - if we seem to be on opposite sides at the moment it's nothing personal. But I do think megadrive has a history of being two faced and fake so I really don't trust him.
I'm not into any of this Blurt warzone stuff - i feel like I already live in a society like that and don't need more online. But going back to Steemit I have a history of being censored on blockchains by people like megadrive. And deep state platforms like fakebook are not really an option even if I wanted to hang out there - I actually do have three FB accounts each with over 500 friends, but I can't post any real content without being blocked.
I'm hoping to keep using Blurt on a front end not lorded over by megadrive, as well as Bastyon where I make a good return running a node and have a fairly popular account, but am embroiled in a different set of disagreements with the developers, Gab where I can literally say or post absolutely anything I feel like but there is no interaction at all, and my own WordPress site where I decide everything but again no interaction.
Ofcourse...no war, arguements, BS, attacks, or hurt feelings from your end. That s why you are so damn cool in my book. Interesting what you say about the other platforms. Yes they all suck for the reasons you point out. And thanks again for not falling in line with those who would prefer you speak out about how much I suck....hahaha I ve gotten pretty decent amount of that lately. Lol

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Twitter. There’s a group on Facebook that helps people get fake vaccination certificates and travel without vaccines it was up throughout the entire pandemic are never ever got brought down you just have to be a bit careful with your words. The main trigger ones I just change to other words. I know it’s a pain but I’m just saying there are ways around it when it’s purely triggered by bots and words.
I doubt we’ll end up on the wrong side of a war due to me because I’m not going to be in any wars I’m not on anybody’s side. If mega drive asked me to do something that I don’t feel comfortable with then I’ll say no I’m not an idiot. If he asked me to do something that I agree with I’ll do it. I have my own personal compass and my own personal belief systems and if you don’t like those that’s fair enough but they aren’t the same as somebody else’s.
Talking about trashing business I had some girl on Facebook who I got into an argument with about something totally different from my main page go to my business page and say she’d ordered something and it was terrible and shite and broken and Facebook wouldn’t even take it down what a fucking joke you should definitely be able to delete peoples comments. In the end I just had to remove my reviews from the page because it did look bad. At least on Etsy and eBay people have to actually buy something and the team are pretty good at removing comments that are not related
For real....I'm looking forward to demonstrating a whole new use for Blurt that is only possible because the mute button exists. If it did not exist, I wouldn't even consider taking the risk. Especially after the BS I experienced this past week.
