Ritual with fire and incense to clean spaces

The use of smoke or sahumerios (incense), as it is commonly known, is a widely extended practice in many cultures. The fact that burning certain materials and that they give off heat and smoke that is impregnated with substances and energies of certain characteristics, is very conducive to various purposes, such as cleaning, harmonizing, attracting, etc. Smoke has the great advantage of entering through all the cracks in buildings, furniture, and reaching places that are difficult to clean, such as ceilings, cracks in walls, etc., and fire has great transmutation power.

When we smoke spaces, we are making use of the fire element and the air element, since the embers or the liquid that allows the combustion of the materials represents the fire, and the smoke that emerges represents the air; so it is ideal as a complementary ritual when we do a deep cleaning with water, of some space, (home, office, local, etc.). Its application is also very opportune when we cannot make y deep cleaning with water; the important thing is to use the right ingredients and the intention with which we perform the ritual.

Since we are starting the year 2023, we are almost in the middle of January, and additionally today, Saturday, January 14, the Moon has gone into its waning phase, this ritual that I bring you today is ideal to clean your spaces more effectively. This is an incense to clean and it is very convenient to do it when the Moon is waning or new, since in this way, the negative energies that we are removing from the place will take longer to return or simply will not return . It should be noted that this ritual is not my authorship, since I learned it years ago, I have done it a few times and it has been effective, so I wanted to share it with all of you. That being said, let's go through the ritual.

THE MATERIALS

3 sachets of Sal de Higuera, which is magnesium sulfate, and is also known as Epson Salt or English Salt.
19 crushed camphor tablets.
Alcohol to burn, lighter alcohol.
A small pot that has a long handle (to be able to handle it properly), which will be used exclusively for cleaning whit incense.

THE PROCEDURE

I am going to repeat what I say in each ritual post: If you do this process with your faith, intention and attention focused on the goal of the ritual, it will have an effect; if you do it without these three elements, you will only be doing something empty, mechanical and useless.
Try to dress in comfortable, light-colored clothing that is not too loose to avoid burns.
Remember to be very careful when doing this ritual to avoid burns and fires. Check that there are no gas leaks or any other element that could be combustible.
You will do the following: Take the camphor pills and crush them very well. You can use a bag and then pass a bottle over them, so that they are pulverized.
In the pot and you will first place the Fig or Epson Salt, then the camphor and lastly you will add the alcohol, until you fill half the pot with the liquid.
Remember that when doing this your attention, your intention and your emotion must be immersed, in which this incense removes any negative energy or entity from your spaces. If you like, you can say prayers while you do the whole process and use your imagination too, visualizing that this incense emits rays of energy that purify the places where you will pass it.
Light the alcohol very carefully, and start walking through your house or the place you are cleaning starting from the front door and following the clockwise direction.
Pass the incense through every corner of the place, with special emphasis on the corners of the walls and door lintels.
When finished, place the pot in the center of the house or place so that it is finished consuming.
Keep in mind that when using a considerable amount of alcohol, during most of the ritual what you will perceive will be the flames of the alcohol. If the flame looks yellow, it is because the energy is being transmuted, if the flame looks blue, it is because it has cleaned and is balancing the place.
When it is completely off, add a little water to eliminate any sparks, make sure there is no trace of fire and place the remains in a bag, thanking you for the help the materials gave you. Then you put this bag in the trash.
You can do this ritual every three months, always on a waning or new moon..

Ritual con fuego y sahumerio para limpiar espacios

El uso de humos o sahumerios, como se le conoce comúnmente, es una práctica ampliamente extendida en muchas culturas. El hecho de que quemar ciertos materiales y que éstos desprendan calor y humo que está impregnado con sustancias y energías de ciertas características, resulta muy propicio para diversos fines, tales como limpiar, armonizar, atraer, etc. El humo tiene la gran ventaja de entrar por todos los resquicios de las construcciones, mobiliario y alcanzar sitios difíciles de limpiar, como son los techos, rendijas en las paredes etc., y el fuego tiene un gran poder de transmutación.

Cuando sahumeriamos espacios, estamos haciendo uso del elemento fuego y del elemento aire, ya que la brasa o el líquido que permite la combustión de los materiales representa al fuego, y el humo que se desprende representa al aire; por lo que es ideal como ritual complementario cuando hacemos una limpieza profunda con agua, de algún espacio, (hogar, oficinal, local, etc.). También es muy oportuna su aplicación cuando no podemos hacer dicha limpieza profunda con agua; lo importante es utilizar los ingredientes adecuados y la intención con que realicemos el ritual.

Ya que estamos iniciando el año 2023, estamos casi a mitad de Enero, y adicionalmente hoy sábado 14 de Enero la Luna ha pasado a fase menguante, este ritual que hoy les traigo es ideal para limpiar de forma más efectiva sus espacios. Este es un sahumerio para limpiar y es muy conveniente hacerlo cuando la Luna está menguante o nueva, ya que de esta forma, las energías negativas que estamos retirando del lugar, tardarán más en regresar o simplemente no lo harán. Cabe señalar que este ritual no es de mi autoría, ya que lo aprendí años atrás, lo he hecho algunas veces y ha sido efectivo, por eso quise compartirlo con todos ustedes. Dicho esto, vamos por el ritual.

LOS MATERIALES

3 sobres de Sal de Higuera, que es sulfato de magnesio, y también es conocida como Sal de Epson o Sal Inglesa.
19 pastillas de alcanfor trituradas.
Alcohol para quemar, alcohol de mechero.
Una olla pequeña que tenga un mango grande (para poder manejarla adecuadamente), la que se destinará exclusivamente para hacer sahumerios de limpieza.

PROCEDIMIENTO

Voy a repetir lo que digo en cada post de ritual: Si este proceso lo haces con tu fe, intención y atención puestas en el objetivo del ritual, tendrá efecto; si lo haces sin estos tres elementos, sólo estarás haciendo algo vacuo, mecánico y sin utilidad.
Trata de vestir con ropa cómoda de colores claros, que no te quede muy suelta para evitar quemaduras.
Recuerda ser muy prudente al hacer este ritual para evitar quemaduras e incendios. Revisa que no haya fugas de gas o cualquier otro elemento que pueda ser combustible.
Harás lo siguiente: Tomar las pastillas de alcanfor y triturarlas muy bien. Puedes usar una bolsa y luego pasarles una botella por encima, de forma tal que se pulvericen.
En la olla y colocarás primero la Sal de Higuera o de Epson, luego el alcanfor y de último añadirás el alcohol, hasta llenar la mitad de la olla con el líquido.
Recuerda que al hacer esto deben estar inmersos tu atención, tu intención y tu emoción, en que este sahumerio retire de tus espacios cualquier energía o entidad negativas. Si es tu gusto, puedes decir oraciones mientras haces todo el proceso y utilizar tu imaginación también, visualizando que este sahumerio desprende rayos de energía que purifican los lugares por donde lo pasarás.
Encender con mucho cuidado el alcohol, y comenzar a transitar a lo largo de tu casa o del lugar que estás limpiando partiendo de la puerta de entrada y siguiendo la dirección de las agujas del reloj.
Pasar el sahumerio por cada rincón del lugar, haciendo especial hincapié en las esquinas de las paredes y dinteles de puertas.
Al finalizar, colocar la olla en el centro de la casa o del lugar para que se termine de consumir.
Ten en cuenta que al usar una cantidad considerable de alcohol, durante la mayor parte del ritual lo que percibirás será las llamas del alcohol. Si la llama se ve amarilla, es porque se está transmutando la energía, si la llama se ve azul, es que ha limpiado y está equilibrando el lugar.
Cuando esté totalmente apagado, añadir un poco de agua para eliminar cualquier chispa, cerciorarse que no hay rastro de fuego y colocar los restos en una bolsa, agradeciendo por la ayuda que te brindaron los materiales. Luego depositas esta bolsa en la basura.
Puedes hacer este ritual cada tres meses, siempre en Luna menguante o nueva..
