High quality content … is it really necessary?

in blurt •  2 years ago

That's a good point, if you ask me, I also prefer short content, but in these blogging-for-money sites, length matters, even if it's not comfortable, and quality is determined by those who have the power to make their votes add.

I’ve definitely gotten comments on my videos that I know they didn't read because they talk about the title, but the video doesn’t have as much to do with the title as they think LOL. I think it’s human nature though, if you’re rewarding several posts a day, no way can you read them all or listen to all the videos, but is that really valuable content then? Maybe more valuable is something you actually read, even if it’s only a sentence and makes you think or makes you wanna type a comment. That’s why political art can be so powerful because you look at it a new imprint the message without needing to read a book or an essay.

I understand the point, I've even seen very useful content in an image or an IG short, the kind that makes you at least write: Thank you!

I get comments on my posts sometimes that make me want to reply with, "tell me you didn't read the post without saying you didn't read the post". 😄

yeah hahaha I got one on my apology video because it was nothing to do with the title really, I mean it was but it was a bit of a cryptic title lol.

To be fair I have done it too though especially with comments where someone has replied to something with like 10 paragraphs and I kind of scan read it and replied to be polite, sometimes they will even say did you read what I wrote? lol

god reading those messages back my typos are so bad, using voice to type whilst walking is not the one lol now I have to pay to go back and make them all make sense

I think sometimes we just want to build communities or engage with content or discussion without reading endless amount of text, I am quite bad for writing long things in discussions my bf often condenses my 12 texts to one in a reply ha I do think women are worse generally not to be sexist we pad out more
