Topic: Conceiving before the Rods
Text: 2Kings 6:5-6; Genesis 30:37-43; John 12:24

The greatest need of God now is a mantle that can be fruitful, producing children for God. These children are ones born out of his own specimen. Calvary is where he paid our dowry, this payment for us was expensive. The Holy Spirit is the engagement ring for the church. Rapture is about honeymoon.

Our services, missions, morning cry is to put the rod in the face of people so that they can conceive. All the prosperity Jacob enjoyed was the cross in the shadow. Looking unto Jesus, as we behold we are being changed into the same image that we see in the mirror. You can't be fruitful, effective, impactful outside the rod.

The cross is central to our faith. Wherever you apply the rod, even if it is gutter, you will rise up. Allow your ministry to conceive before the timber of calvary. What will make the church the envy of the nation is the cross. The works of the Spirit is foolishness to those that perish. My location no matter how primitive is not a matter to God. What matters is can you show where the axehead fell.

Where do you look to in your times of crisis? It is very good for a child of God to walk under open heavens. It's not about what you wear but open heavens. May God show you mercy and give you higher degree of open heavens. If your earth is iron, check your heavens. Start where God's word starts and stop where it stops. Whatever be the battle, challenge, you would get victory when you look to the cross.

The cross is a mindset, principle. It is to obey beyond murmurings and logic. Things that make men great are not as big as elephant. They are little things, obey it. Anything you did not get before the rod will not be effective. It is when men forsake you that you are attractive to God.

REASONS FOR AVOIDING PREGNANCY BEFORE THE ROD

1. IT TAKES YOU OUT OF SHAPE - It changes your steps and your shape. You will no longer appeal to the world system. People that used to like you, will not like you again. God wants the church to take men out of shape to the point that the world system is no longer interested in them. We need to get venom in our teeth. Don't glory in crowds.
2. IT WOULD PLACE YOU ON ANTE-NATAL GOWN: It is not everything you see you wear. When you want to serve God according to pattern, you will not wear anything anyhow. A pregnant woman can't fight - because of what she is carrying she can't engage in strive. Pregnancy is a weight, a burden - you won't have time for many things. Pregnancy will place you on checkup - you submit to the gynaecologist (the Holy Spirit) He needs to check your decisions, your relationship with other humans and everything.
3. IT WOULD DARKEN YOUR SKIN: There would pimples breaking out on your face
4. IT WOULD AFFECT YOUR APPETITE: It affects what you eat, what you drink and how you speak.
5. YOU WILL OWN NOTHING Exodus 21:4-6

God has been courting the church. You can't produce for God backing Him - in marriage, career, ministry etc. Men of destiny marry before the rod. Whosoever is thirsty, let him come and drink.
A king is honored by the multitude of men he controls.

The best you can give God now is to produce for Him. For his children to be stronger than that of the world, you must produce before the cross. Children fanatic for the father. Don't go the way of Laban, your flocks will be weak. Go the way of Revelation. Produce children before the cross.
