I pleased me to take process of making food despite being a guy i am a good cook in my own way,stay turned as i wellcome you into my kitchen department,with my recipe.
Last week yesterday i decided to take the role of coking in the house,i ended up preparing white rice and stew,join me as i show you how i came to my final conclusion.
Ingredients require
- Raw rice
- Fresh tomatoes
- Pepe
- Onion
- Groundnut oil
- Salt
- Meat or fish
- Water
- Crayfish
- Spices
- Maggi
- Ginger and garlic on choice
- Tin tomatoes
- Curry.
Firstly wash your meat or fish which ever one you are using,am using meat,after washing i steam the meat with some spices,you can use salt and onions in case u couldn't get spices in the market or you don't use spices to cook.
I steam the meat without water an after it water dried up i added water to ensure my meat was soft enough for consumption.
Cook your rice half done and wash to reduce carbohydrates content and stone after which you return it back for it finally cooking as you can see above.
Put your pot on fire with groundnut oil in it as seen above,well before i proceed in frying my tomatoes so to kill it soar taste it introduce salt in the hot oil to avoid burning while frying my tomatoes.
As the image above shows i put in my onions and tin tomatoes,but you can start by put in your fresh tomatoes which ever styles you choose have it in mind it will still brings out the taste.
I fried for a while and then pause,the reason because i was boiling my fresh tomatoes to reduce it water content as below .
As i observed there was a reduction in water i poured out the tomatoes quickly in to the frying pot,and continued with frying.
To know if your tomatoes or stew has been cooked or done you will notice the oil will come up while your frying and stirring at the same time.
As i was frying i took seconds off to powder the pepe,crayfish,garlic an ginger,just as the above image entails,when i finished grinding i took my cooking spoon to collect them and to put it into the pot,i added small water inside the molter,just to properly collect all unpick able pieces by my spoon and turn it inside my frying pot.
On that course i begin to add my spices i.e maggi,curry, etc.
I poured my meat and it water and as well added small water to liquidate the stew, added small salt and finally am done cooking,i closed my pot and wait for few minutes so all newly ingredients will fully mix up with the fried tomatoes so it taste will show forth.
Inconclution i arrived by the pictures below,what a tasty sunday stew whom my brothers couldn't let to end the day but rather finished it all because it was very tasty.
