Self voting and even vote buying (@upvu) is not restricted on the blurt chain by any code or system workings , everyone is free to use and abuse .
On here your behavior is judged upon by every user individually .
Natural market workings are left untouched here in case of self voting .
To me , if one thinking self voting is getting payed for the work ( post ) done ,. well to me that sounds like bull , as no one asked you for this post ever ,. you did it , no one ordered you .
But i understand that creators of artwork paintings and pictures do self vote their posts for this same reason , for the curator bots really only like words and text . Even buying votes to promote your own post of art a bit more is not a crime on blurt ,. it can be done right or wrong . Humble to get your work on trending past the circle yerkings to get noticed to build a follow for your works ,.. or ,
Wrong like offgridlife pushing posts on local real estate plots ( low effort shit posts ) on a daily basis . Without upvu and many alter accounts offgrid is using to self vote ,.. no one would know about him in any way .
Obviously one driven by greed and envy .
And no worry's on blurt , if the founding whales dislike you for being a critic ,. there are always some whales that will vote for your critics .
As long as your critics are just and have a solid basis .
But as always , the safest way is to shut up and let them rule .

On blurt , some , like me , complained a lot , and became the rulers critics . Free speech is free speech ,. deal with all of it i say . No stake can make a voice more powerful then another ,.. no stake gives the rights to rule over the property of others .
After almost two years on blurt ,.. and many struggles ,.. blurt is still the most social place to speak free . If there where no critics ,. blacklisting community muting banning or even account freezing up till theft from inactive users would all be implemented by now .
Tip ,. as your witness vote can be spread out over 30 witnesses , like you have one vote only , it is wise to vote as little witnesses as possible . So your vote stays strong and will not get deluded over 30 of them .
