You know what at some point ppl need to stop dragging blurt and bringing up the past if we want to stay on and build something of value for everyone. Trust me I’ll fight for freedoms every day of the week, I blame my very heavy Aquarius chart, that I just can’t let an injustice go unfaught for. But I just don’t think it’s doing any good to keep dividing the us vs them and just constantly being negative about the platform. Maybe if we all spoke more about what we wanted than didn’t want some good ideas might actually come up, maybe people will listen etc. Maybe dan can do some surveys and if the results are overwhelming they will make the changes. This is more like a protest in a way. You can’t just protest things you hate lol else what can be changed? If you say I don’t like hearts but don’t give suggestions then what do we do have 0 symbol for example. Like what shape does everyone want as a button? Lol personally I couldn’t care less but maybe instead of going on about how much ppl hate a heart they could suggest some shapes they do like and if enough ppl agree with them ppl might change it. The heart thing is an example but with everything it’s kind of pointless to just be we don’t want this this and this, it’s better to be like we would love to see this this and this and then I do think if enough ppl agree it would get pushed through. Dan would be an idiot to be a top ten witness and just fight and argue with mega drive every day, it’s totally unprofessional and achieves nothing . That role comes with a different responaibility than blogger. I would do the same as him. You cant work for a business and fight with your boss and the employers and customers all day on twitter lol it’s just not what you do in an official role. Yes you keep the same beliefs but you go about it in an entirely different way by merging ideas. My two cents
To me it's not about the design ,. aldo hearts are not my thing , it's fine as it is .

Yeah I was only using the example of the heart because I’ve seen it come up but I just think generally maybe if we just went on about the things we would like rather than the things we don’t then they could actually get change and improve the site there is no point complaining about things if there is no call to action
That is the unfortunate side effect of entering this political arena. You can easily piss people off, and never receive another vote from them again. I believe this is another reason to speak in a respectful manner on such topics, as in the end, you may just only be shooting yourself in the foot.
I know , most teachers hated me , i sucked up the little knowledge they where teaching us and got bored , started questioning the shit out of it . Social behavior did a 45% negative impact on my grades .
Some still say i shot myself in the foot already back then , and kept doing such shit true most your life .
I have no regrets , i rather climb a steep hill alone then cross a wide open plane with a bunch of lunatics .

I can say in regards to @megadrive , i will engage in a more respectful manner in future comments from me , everywhere , no problem . Same terrain , same principle ,.. but i will walk the terrain with other clothes . Not full combat armor , no just flip-flops , shorts , a Bahama's shirt and a cocktail in my hand .

I'm happy to put the past behind and have professional discourse with you going forward, I wish for everyone to get along on Blurt, please don't see me as an enemy, I have alot of responsibility as founder so have to keep the community/users safe the best ways I know how, I don't always get it right, but I try my best and am well-meaning in everything I do.
I find both of these comments to be spot on (@small1axe and @megadrive). The best way to make an impact with ones ideas is to not deliver them in a passive aggressive or straight up offensive way. Even if you feel like banging your head or someone else's head against a wall, keeping calm, playing things cool, and communicating intelligently is simply best for everyone and the platform.
Like when C time said he likes a free account set up I think a lot of people would actually agree with him on that

Yes @lucylin can be great. I want to give the penguin a second chance. Like I said I was a big fan. He certainly is a talented writer, but man he focused his talents in a too personal way to too many people that just are not on the same level of him linguistically, ideologically, or emotionally. To me it just became down right disturbing. Like watching mike tyson beat the shit out of an ordinary guy on the street and nobody steps in to break it up. I just couldn t stand by amymore and watch that kind of relentless beatdown.
