Blurt Charter of Rights and Freedoms. 🤬

Close i said ,.. for in the long run your stealing from yourself .
And yes , on the short vision , self-voting could be explained and defended with free ride logic .
I did the work no one asked for ,.. invested a stake ,.. and i wan't profit out of that , while falling to see the need of growth on the longer time scale ,.. i want it all ,.. and i want it now ,. ..
The music in my head when my pointer hovers over the upvote button in my post ... ;-)

since when is myopic focus on (perceived) short-term self-interest "a crime" ?

it certainly doesn't reach the bar of "coercive theft"

You can invest 1 Million dollars in something like Hive or Steem but you better never expect a profit. The OverLords…. the Communist and Anarchist Rulers, will take it from you. Ha ha ha ha ….

I can’t stand it when someone .. Anarchist, Communist, Etc etc …. tells me what I can or cannot do with my money. They seem to have infiltrated Blurt.

if they're making demands backed by threats, they are not anarchists

Then they are not anarchists…. What are they ?

people who expect compliance when they make direct and or indirect threats are THUGS

governments who expect compliance when they make direct and or indirect threats are FASCISTS

MOBSTER ETHICS

It’s funny really …. I am starting to prefer my Canadian Government .. the evil Justin Trudeau over the Thugs I find here on crypto blockchains.

a good friend of mine once told me,

"you never brandish a weapon"

"you USE a weapon"

Your overstretching the subject ,.. trying to pull it out of content ,.. i advice to be careful , as your starting to step in your own shit soon . Not a threat , just some caring advice ,.. to keep you from hurting yourself ,.. and probably blaming me for it . I don't need those wars no more , please .

( self upvoting comes very close to this )

I ask you , where do you see any other topic in that line then upvoting your own content ? Or is self-voting , the whole blockchain and all it's futures , to you , and your now only acting out of fear to loose that ?

Well no worries , i have zero power ,.. but i might surprise you that i do not mind someone setting up multiple accounts to upvote one main account . As that would mean investing and staking in multiple accounts ,.. witch add's more to the economy then just plain self-voting does . ;-)

Never did i call it a crime ,. just not smart in the long run .

It's your cow ,.. if you choose to profit on the meat ,. that is then your right to do so ,.. I just see more profit coming from selling only the milk and butter .

you basically suggested that "self-voting" "comes close" to "tax"

this makes zero sense

Tax and self-voting both are bad for economic growth ,.. but it could maybe be better compared with cheating on your insurance .. ;-)

ok, "self-promotion" seems untoward for individuals, but it's "business as usual" for corporations

There are better ways to promote oneself then upvoting ones own post's .

Let's say i have a some cash to invest ,.. i invest in a lemonade stand ,. stake all my cash in it to make it work . But i make terrible tasting lemonade ,. no one wants to buy it ,. there is no profit on my investment . Now i do pay myself for the hours i put in to my shop , it comes from the stake . So to save my venture i can use my pay to buy my own lemonade , because ,.. i am smart ???

I am gonna do the honorable thing now ,.. won't want to be around when all the world starts starving ,.
Ill take my honor ... .... WHALLLLHAAAALAAAAAAA!!!!

;-)

on the other hand

"high-quality-original-content" does not always automatically find its audience

self-voting works best when you have enough stake to reach the "all trending" page

it's exactly the same as paying for a billboard
