Assalamu Alaikum Asa Kari you are all well. By God's grace I am fine too. Today I will share with you the virtues of Surah Al Fateh.
Virtues of Surah Al Fateh.
Surah Al-Fatihah is the first Surah of the Holy Quran. Verse seven. Descended to Mecca. The first three verses praise the great God and the last three verses are a combination of the content of prayer and supplication to God on behalf of man. One of the verses is a mixture of praise and prayer. This Surah forbids the worship of anyone other than Allah forever.
The word ‘Fatiha’ means beginning, commencement, inauguration, unveiling etc. The first of the 114 surahs of the Qur'an is Surat al-Fatiha. For this reason, Surah Fatiha is called 'Fatihatul Quran' or the beginning of the Qur'an. Surah Fatiha is also called Suratul Hamd, Ummul Quran, Assabul Machani, Waqiyyah, Suratul Kafiyah, Suratul Kanz, Suratush Shifa and Suratul Asas.
The virtues of Surah Fatihah cannot be concluded. It has been mentioned in the book 'Khazinatul Asrar', 'If a person recites Surah Fatiha 40 times including Bismillah before performing the obligatory Fajr prayers, then if he is childless, he will have children, if he is unemployed, he will have a job, if he is in debt, it will be a way to repay If there is, there will be wealth, if there is sick, there will be recovery and if there is danger, there will be salvation.
Hazrat Ali (RA) said: If a person in danger recites Surah Al-Fatihah a thousand times, that person can no longer be in danger. Hazrat Imam Zafar Sadeq (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "If you recite Surah Al-Fatihah 41 times and blow it in water and feed it to a sick person, the sick person will be cured." (Medina in Tawarikh).
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (R.) said, “Once on a trip, one of our companions just recited Surah Al-Fatiha and blew the venom of the snake and he recovered (Bukhari Sharif: 5405). Seeing this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked him, "How did you know that it is Rakiyah (meaning the Surah of reciting and blowing)?" (Tafsir Ibn Kathir). Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) said, the Prophet (SAW) said, you recite Surah Fatiha. When a servant says Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alamin, Allah says, My servant has praised me. When My servant says, Ar-Rahmani's Rahim, then Allah says, My servant has described my virtue. When the servant says, Maliki Yaomiddin, then Allah says, My servant has described my dignity. When the servant says, Yakanabudu wa yaya kanastain, then Allah says, this is the talk between me and my servant. For my servant there is so much he wants. When the servant says, Ihdinas Siratal Mustakim ... until the end. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “All this is for My slave, so he has what he desires” (Muslim Sharif: 395).
Apart from this, if one understands and reads one letter of the Qur'an, 10 virtues are gained. Surah Fatiha has 125 letters. 1250 virtues are donated to the person who will recite 125 letters.
