About cutting down trees and eating sap for date juice in winter.

As soon as the severity of winter is not seen, many trees cut down date palms and start collecting sap. In winter, the people of rural Bengal make a living by selling palm sap. This is how the trees of our rural areas are cut from one tree to another all day long. This winter time of the trees is very pleasant. Even in the cold winter morning, when the bones of the tree are cold and the bones of the juice are lowered, it is still a pleasure. The fun of eating date juice is different. Winter seems to be more like drinking juice in the morning. In this winter, drinking juice in the morning makes the body very tired. Even then the extreme fun gets enjoyable. Even if it gets cold, there is no alternative to eating juice. You have to eat the juice no matter how cold it is. The pleasure of basking in the sun in the backyard with a sip of another glass of juice after a glass or two of cold winter juice is different.

শীতেকালে খেজুরের রসের জন্য গাছ কাটা ও রস খাওয়া সম্পর্কে।

শীতের তীব্রতা দেখা না দিলেই অনেক গাছি খেজুর গাছ কেটে রস সংগ্রহের কাজ শুরু করে দেয়। শীতকালে গ্রামীণ বাংলার মানুষের জীবন জীবিকা খেজুর গাছের রস বিক্রয় করে সংসার চালাই। আমাদের গ্রাম অঞ্চলের গাছিরা সারাদিন এক গাছ থেকে অন্য গাছে এভাবেই কেটে যায় তাদের দিন। গাছিদের এই শীতকালীন সময়টা অনেক আনন্দদায়ক। খুব শীতের ভোরের হাড় কাপানি ঠান্ডায় গাছ উঠে রসের হাড়ি নামানো কোস্টকর তারপরেও আন্নান্দ লাগে। খেজুর রস খাওয়ার মজাটাই আলাদা। ভোর বেলায় রস খেলে শীত মনে হয় আরো বেশি লাগে । এই শীতে ভোর বেলা রস খেলে শরিরে খুব কাপানির করে। তারপরেও চরম মজা আনন্দদায়ক পায়। শীত লাগে লাগুক তবুও রস খাওয়ার কোন বিকল্প নেই। যত শীতই লাগুক রস খেতেই হবে। ঠান্ডা শীতের এক গ্লাস বা দুই গ্লাস রস খাওয়ার পরে পরেই কাপতে কাপতে আরো এক গ্লাস রস চুমুক দিয়ে বাড়ীর উঠানে রোদ তাপানোর আনন্দোটাই আলাদা।
