Ok, so when the Blurt price goes up and down, it looks like the bloody Grand Canyon... 😂 Those cliffs are suggesting a price vulnerability due to lacking market capitalization. I will be so happy, when they disappear alltogether...

Yesterday the price soared up by about 43% this morning, when I checked it, it was almost down to it's original price before the pump.

@outofthematrix! You mentioned in this post (and I saw before) that you are a Blurt Witness. What can you tell me about your decision to become a Witness? What's your vision for this blockchain? And what do you think are some of the next steps that Blurt (and it's community) needs to take to innovate and grow? 1 year is going to go by quickly... what improvements would you like to see and how do you think we can realistically achieve them?
I'm interested in being a catalyst for rapid and continual change/improvement... and I have been thinking about becoming a Blurt Witness as well.

I was on Steemit and on Hive for years (like many of us)... I witnessed the takeover of Steemit by Justin Sun and I was personally victim of the downvote wars on Hive, my account being nuked to rep -100 by Marky and his hounds...
It was really quite frustrating, just standing by and seeing these things happening, without having any possibility to help or change something...
I never really planned to start a witness... Some people here on Blurt asked me why I don't start a witness... And they were right, so here I am!
I love Blurt and I love the fact that nobody can harm another user financially, and I want to actively be part of this process, so here I am!
The answer is in your question! 😉 Hive has a community feature. I am German and on Hive I spent most of my days in the D-A-CH Community. I have suggested it MORE THAN ONCE to the core dev team... Sadly, they don't give a 💩. But THIS exactly is why I am here! Just trying to get what I think are important changes implemented by dev...
Furthermore, I spend my time here on the chain and not in Discord backrooms. I want the community to take place HERE an not on Discord!

I knew that Hive wasn't interested in innovating... I mean really innovating so that's why I'm here! I believe that we are in the middle of innovating new and better ways to human here on Blurt and I'm thrilled that we are just getting started with this!

I always pictured everything doubling, but it may be that a lot of crypto returns to 2018 prices in the distant future. I'm just thankful I could get some portion of my Blurt sold. I think in the short term we should be figuring some way to make some cash.

Nope... not me. I have never compared the new money to the old money. The only reason to do that is in order to buy... never sell. (At least for me.) I think that what we measure success by determines our ultimate success... and I find it far more useful to trade between two things I want more of. Fiat is being inflated away... so it make little sense to accumulate that. I'll trade all day if it's BTC and BLURT.
By old money you mean "fiat" and new money "crypto"...? I want to believe this. I see your example on the exchanges as buying into a decentralized currency. There are a lot of Bitcoin in cold wallets from people who are determined to HODL. At the same time fiats are getting weaker... but the US dollar is so strong these days. I get paid in Korean won and it feels like I am making less than poverty.
