The difference between BLURT and HIVE? There is none!

Ok, I admit: The title is quite clickbait-ish... ;)

But in the escence it is true! Back when Hive went online, I didn't really have the overview that I have today, about the importance of exchange listings, marketing etc..

I was just a user, that left Steem to go to Hive, which I thought back then, would be a better place. 😂😂😂😂 (ROFL)

From a technological stance, Blurt and Hive are absolutely similar! They are sibling chains!

The only difference is that Hive has Dan Larimer!

If you haven't heard that name before, then your Bulb 💡 will most likely go on, when you hear the name Blocktrades. Blocktrades was a service back in the Steem days to quickly get one crypto converted into another and he took this service with him over to Hive, when he left Steem after the Justin Sun takeover.

Blurt is missing its "Dan Larimer"!

People like Dan Larimer have best connections to key people sitting in crypto exchanges, crypto marketing companies and so on and so forth.

There is so much crap out there on the crypto market, ALI (Artificial Liquid Intelligence) just to name one of the many! It is an absolute shitcoin, but has 72 million USD in marketcap! This coin has or had a Dan Larimer to get it positioned on exchanges and in the crypto scene!

IMO all Blurt needs, is its very own "Dan Larimer", somebody with the connections and the know-how to get Blurt postiioned on just one notable exchange!

So let us all sing it out to the universe:

BRING BLURT ITS DAN LARIMER! 😜

A little reminder: I am a top 20 Blurt witness, sooo please help me stay there!

Listing in Binance will really make this platform bloom like flowers of Fortune tree at night where it spreads it heavenly scent simultaneously with other fortune plants at night time and makes us all enjoy the ultimate blockchain social media that ever existed in this world because of the impact of the listing in the value of BLURT token when the greater demand for it happens because of the listing in Binance in particular.

But anyway, this platform is just so peaceful because there is no longer an abused and misused tool to destroy one's account and we really experience it because of the pay for play feature of Blurt blockchain platform despite its "cons" like in particular, for easily onboarding new users or those that are just starting from scratch without any clue about blockchains or means to buy BLURT tokens for them to start their journey of blogging away and sharing their own world in this platform.

But regardless of that when BLURT gets listed in major exchanges, it will make this community and the whole of the blockchain economics to get electrified and start its gears to roll on the positive side of BLURT token valuation. But this platform must get big enough for that to happen which is a never-ending loop of cycle because the value of the token is really very low that it doesn't get the attention of many people which is needed to raise its value when people starts to buy in BLURT tokens or invest in it so that it can listed. There is also a fee for listing and that is quite a problem too but not equal to the main problem of drawing more members as I had already stated. @outofthematrix 😀👍

There is one huge difference between BLURT and HIVE.

The HIVE witnesses voted to pay 20% interest on HBD. This means that HIVE has an horrendous debt load.

BLURT appears to be doing things on a pay as you go basis and might out live HIVE as a result.

Yes you are right. The tokenomics is very different. On Blurt there is also NO downvote button! ;D I just wanted to point out the technological similarities.

It's not just Dan Larimer. There is a whole group of investors who walked away from Steemit because they were bothered by the power that Justin Sun was concentrating.

But apart from that, I think there are semantic differences between Blurt and Hive, beyond the Money God.

For example, in Hive there is almost absolute censorship power if you do not agree with the lines of its main "gurus". For this reason we must be careful with communities that are not a way to concentrate power in a few. They are, however, valid for diversifying and classifying content.

Acidyo, for example, and his various other names in so many accounts had towards the end of last year an account valued at more than 20 million dollars. Today he only has pennies. Where did that money go if not to the speculative market?

I think Blurt is fine the way it is. It seems absurd to me that by simply writing a post you earn more than 100 USD as happened in Hive and Steem in the old days. Have you stopped to think that it is almost the monthly salary of a worker who works 8 hours a day in many countries of the so-called Third World?

Thanks for the interesting excursion into the old Hive days. One thing does bother me though : How the hell do you go from 20 million to pennies!?! 😳

Steemit is fine it’s on binance and almost the same price as hive only 1-2 c off. Blurt however, does need an exchange I’ve felt that since the beginning it is just too difficult to cash in and out at a fair price.

Acidyo is farming away on steemit or was whilst downvoting anyone on hive who dared to post on there. He’s one of the worst. I’ve shared my experience with that bunch when I saw their behaviour in a private chat group. At this point though I think everyone knows the score with those folks and if they want to continue funding those ppl then it’s their free will I guess.

I think 100 usd is fine but it depends on the content. Someone top of their game on YouTube is making tens of thousands of pounds or more from one video. But the thing is it then becomes a business and they can then spend money on say travelling to cool new places, employing ppl to edit the videos or film the videos etc so in some ways it become a business when ppl do really well and they begin to fund others and improve the eco system. This is why YouTube works as it doesn’t cap growth and decide ‘ someone has earnt too much’ the problem with doing that is you’ll always get basic content. Travelling blogging is a great example. Someone can only travel vlog for £100 a video if they are doing local travel or they are just side filming their holiday. To do actual travel vlogging and show cool experiences really takes a lot of money. Earning good money for posts should enable a person to grow and give money to others to help and assist and be able to produce better content and live a great life on the side. Obviously just earning good money then not wanting to invest in the business and just sit back and claim 100 dollars for sharing a few lines or a twitter link or a couple of iPhone pics is a bit weird because did you not want to take all that nice investment if you had it for a long time and improve your craft over time and employ ppl to help etc.

Late to this post but totally agree I mean steemit is fine it’s on binance but I totally agree blurt at this point desperately needs a somewhat decent exchange that is nice and easy to use.

Re🤬eD

I'm done with hive

But since you're pointing out that they have Dan and Dan, and there shitcoin is sitting at 30 cents, there may be an argument for investment!
✊🤬🥓👍

I am quite sure, he would get us an exchange listing, but what I have learnt is that an exchange listing has become more difficult nowadays then back in the Hive days...

More exchanges would make a huge difference.
But I really wish more website services would use these chains for logging in and using their features. The same way Facebook users or Google ID holders can use their logins to access other web sites.
For example, Image Hosting SHOULD have been done this way... that the Drag-N-droP photo placement on an article would Cost. That way, various front ends would all be able to offer Web Features that the chain doesn't support.

Email was the most OBVIOUS choice to start. Imagine having 'ProtonMail' level features that could cost a few bucks a month that you could pay for in BLURT, hive, STEEM, whatever. Image hosting. Video Hosting. Forums. All things done through the web could be much better facilitated and PAID FOR with these Graphene Chains... Most Especially BLURT since it takes the DV button away from DouscheBags like MarkMark, and removes the Pegged Dollar off the system so that those same DouscheBags can't manipulate the Tokenomics and declare to Us that they are Saviors.

So more exchanges are nice to keep Speculating Tokens, but the time has come to invite other WebServices to come along and adopt the blockchain to open up Trade across the web.

At least here there are no downvotes. They are often used as personal revenge, which is very unfair. They don’t care if the content is good; they still downvote you to teach you to treat them as if they were nobility, while they consider you a commoner.

That is the reason why many bloggers are here 👍🏽
