I had a funny thought this week:
What would happen if a big time investor crossed my path and would ask:
I want to buy all the available BLURT on the market! How many are there?
So, I asked my fellow witness @nalexadre on Discord and he sent me an awesome answer here:
Hi @outofthematrix, that's an interesting question and not an easy one. I took some time to write a quick script to query Probit's API and Hive-Engine's API, and here’s the data I found with the conversion rate of 1 BTC = 64,383.15 USD:
PROBIT
For a selling price < 0.005 USD:
There are 68 orders for a total of 437,931.126 BLURT available for 1,406.51 USD (or 0.0218459070 BTC), giving an average price per BLURT of 0.0032 USD (or 0.0000000499 BTC)

There are 150 orders for a total of 1,104,264.865 BLURT available for 92,511.56 USD (or 1.4368909190 BTC), giving an average price per BLURT of 0.0838 USD (or 0.0000013012 BTC)
HIVE-ENGINE
For a selling price < 0.005 USD:
There are 33 orders for a total of 278,451.024 BLURT available for 746.80 USD (or 0.0115992385 BTC), giving an average price per BLURT of 0.0027 USD (or 0.0000000417 BTC)
For a selling price < 0.01 USD:
There are 40 orders for a total of 278,470.363 BLURT available for 746.95 USD (or 0.0116016378 BTC), giving an average price per BLURT of 0.0027 USD (or 0.0000000417 BTC)
For a selling price < 0.035 USD:
There are 56 orders for a total of 2,053,135.961 BLURT available for 30,341.94 USD (or 0.4712715164 BTC), giving an average price per BLURT of 0.0148 USD (or 0.0000002295 BTC)
For a selling price < 0.05 USD:

For a selling price < 0.1 USD:

For a selling price < 0.5 USD:
There are 83 orders for a total of 2,053,208.630 BLURT available for 30,354.06 USD (or 0.4714596984 BTC), giving an average price per BLURT of 0.0148 USD (or 0.0000002296 BTC)
For a selling price < 1 USD:
There are 90 orders for a total of 2,053,227.969 BLURT available for 30,367.14 USD (or 0.4716627881 BTC), giving an average price per BLURT of 0.0148 USD (or 0.0000002297 BTC)
For a selling price < 5 USD:
There are 107 orders for a total of 2,053,276.121 BLURT available for 30,489.15 USD (or 0.4735579243 BTC), giving an average price per BLURT of 0.0148 USD (or 0.0000002306 BTC)
Further on, @nalexadre summed it up really awesomely:
It’s a total for each range, meaning if your investor places a buy order at 5 USD, he will get:
- 1,104,264.865 BLURT (150 orders from Probit)
- 2,053,276.121 BLURT (107 orders from Hive-Engine)
For a total of 3,157,540.986 BLURT. This would cost 92,511.56 USD on Probit and 30,489.15 USD on Hive-Engine, for a total of 123,000.71 USD, giving an average price per BLURT of 0.0389 USD.
However, that might not be the best strategy. A better move could be to buy:
- Probit: All orders < 0.039 USD (127 orders) = 876,935.871 BLURT for 10,846.01 USD (or 0.16846045 BTC), averaging 0.0124 USD per BLURT.
- Hive-Engine: All orders < 0.018 USD (143 orders) = 2,471,321.399 BLURT for 29,776.74 USD (or 0.46249279 BTC), averaging 0.0120 USD per BLURT.
This totals 3,348,257.27 BLURT for 40,622.75 USD, with an average price of 0.0121 USD per BLURT.
Then, he can use the remaining 82,377.96 USD (from the initial 123,000.71 USD) to place an order for 6,864,830 BLURT at 0.012 USD. This would stabilize the price, and I don’t think it would take long to be filled. In this way, for 123,000.71 USD, he would get a total of 10,213,087.27 BLURT, which is a much better deal! Hahaha.
If this gives enough momentum for BLURT to reach the same price levels as HIVE or STEEM, his gains would be 16 times his initial investment.
Thank you @nalexadre for this interesting excursion!

Also consider if Said Investor was an influencer, or a Service Provider, that Cared to back their product or influence in an unEXTORTABLE Token?

One can only ponder 🤬
This is some great information. My strategy is to buy a little every single day on Hive-Engine. …. Slowly converting all my Hive to Blurt. Especially the dips when people sell their Blurt to me for almost nothing.
Sounds like a good plan to me!!! 😜🙏🍀❤️🏆👍
I watch for those big giant dips and buy whatever I can. Always a good deal on Probit.
"If this gives enough momentum for BLURT to reach the same price levels as HIVE or STEEM, his gains would be 16 times his initial investment."
If the price starts to increase there'll be so many people selling that it'll push the price back down. If it was that easy to increase your initial investment 10-15 times someone would've already done it. :))
In a previous post on my account, I explained that the total circulating supply of BLURT (after excluding accounts that have never logged in) is approximately 236,393,210.061 BLURT. The 6,864,830 BLURT at 0.012 USD represents about 2.9% of this supply, which is significant enough to absorb a large portion of the sellers looking to dump their tokens. Currently, the total buy orders on both exchanges amount to only 4,430,607.808 BLURT, which is far below the 10,213,087.27 BLURT the investor is looking to acquire. This disparity highlights the potential impact such a buy order could have on the price, especially given the current liquidity.
It's also important to note that during the period from October 2021 to June 2022, the price of BLURT was well above 0.012 USD, sometimes significantly so. Many holders who bought during that period would likely be unwilling to sell at such a loss (50% or more), unless they've managed to lower their average cost (PMUP) by making substantial purchases at lower prices since then. This factor reduces the probability of large amounts of BLURT being sold at rock-bottom prices.
Of course, a single buy order alone is not enough to sustain the price long term. It needs to be accompanied by strong external communication, emphasizing "work in progress," "proof of concepts," and any initiatives that can demonstrate that the Blurt blockchain is active and evolving.
@outofthematrix I think this comment might interest you too ;)
Thank you so much for this interesting additional information dear @nalexadre! ❤️🙏🏽 It is very much appreciated. 🤗
Great info!
