📹 From $100 to $100K: The Legendary Crypto OG Returns

IMG_20241207_062203_603.jpg

The iconic crypto enthusiast who filmed Bitcoin hitting $100 in 2013 is back—this time capturing the $100,000 milestone at the same spot. Talk about dedication! 🎥🎉

Meanwhile, Donald Trump chimed in on Truth Social to congratulate crypto fans, and Paris Hilton urges everyone to hold out for $111,111 BTC. Women and their love for symmetry, right? 😉

Arthur Hayes Proposes the Return of ICOs to Save Crypto 🧐

IMG_20241207_062358_571.jpg

In his essay The Cure, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, criticizes venture capital (VC)-backed crypto projects for straying from decentralization and massive retail profits.

He argues that ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) should return to empower retail investors, provide decentralization, and reignite the excitement of early crypto days.

💡 Why ICOs?

▪️ They bypass VCs and centralized exchanges (CEXs).
▪️Offer high risk but potentially 10,000x rewards.
▪️Encourage viral memetic content and innovative tech development.

Hayes points out that retail investors are shunning VC-backed tokens in favor of memecoins due to better risk-reward dynamics.

He sees ICOs as the antidote to the current system, restoring financial dreams for the crypto community.

🔥 His call to action? “Just Say No” to overvalued VC-backed projects and embrace the speculative chaos of ICOs!

🧟‍♂️ Zombie Tokens Are Back to Life, and Forbes Is the Punchline

IMG_20241207_062550_115.jpg

👀 Back in March, Forbes crowned XRP king of the "zombie tokens"—assets allegedly good for nothing but speculation.

Fast forward to today, and those same "zombies" are pumping hard, with XRP leading the charge. 🚀

Now, the community has a new favorite meme: Forbes’ crystal ball might need a reboot. Turns out, zombies can do more than just shuffle—they can moon too. 🌕💀

In 2024, the global number of cryptocurrency holders has surpassed 650 million. 🚀

IMG_20241207_062834_128.jpg

This figure is still lower than the number of internet users back in 1999. 🤷

The internet hit 1 billion users by 2001 and crossed the 2 billion mark in 2007.

However, the rate of growth of cryptocurrency users is higher, so we may not have to wait several years for the first billion 🧐.

If you are called "The Legendary Crypto OG" for filming the chart at $100, what am I called? I filmed the chart at $10. I have lots of YouTube videos still up, where the price is below $50. I often predicted the price would surpass $1000, and could even go to $1m, and people called me crazy. Most had never even heard of Bitcoin when I was talking about it all through 2011-2013.

Of are truth you are an og with five star. Did you hold any btc back then?
