Major scandal in the crypto world: famous footballers found to be involved in the massive Omegapro investment fraud.

Involved players:
• Ronaldinho
• Kaka
• Luis Figo
• Iker Casillas
• Roberto Carlos
• Fernando Hierro
• Carles Puyol

Fraud details:

• Company promised high returns over 14 months

• Footballers promoted the project at events and on social media

• Three organizers arrested, two still at large

❗️Notably, this is Ronaldinho’s second crypto scandal. He was previously involved in the “18kRonaldinho” scheme that promised 2% daily returns.

💬 “How could it be a scam? Famous footballers were involved!” - says one victim who lost €18,000.

Victims’ lawyers plan to hold all footballers who promoted the scheme accountable.

💰 Hackers Swipe $20M from U.S. Government Wallet?

IMG_20241105_065006_592.jpg

On October 24, analysts at Arkham Intelligence detected suspicious transactions from a U.S. government-linked crypto wallet that previously held funds seized from Bitfinex hackers.

It appears that someone moved around $20 million in assets from the wallet:

  • 13.6M aUSDC
  • 5.44M USDC
  • 1.12M USDT
  • 177,892 ETH

While $13.1M remains in the wallet, some assets have already been transferred to other addresses and seem to be exchanged for ETH.

Arkham suspects the hacker has begun laundering funds through addresses linked to crypto “cleaning” services.

On-chain detective ZachXBT also identified two more hacker addresses holding $5.4M and $1.36M, respectively.

💥A polite reminder from 2011 that Bitcoin will do to banks what the internet did to mail.

REVIEW ALTCOINS MARKET

IMG_20241027_052750_625.jpg

$BTC dominance is at the highest point since early 2021. How did we come to this alts anxiety and it is actually possible to earn money by longing altcoins?

🥀 First of all, this is the year of VC coins decline. Retail has understood the nature of VC backed projects, as funds are here to sell, not to pump the price for no reason.

This was one of the reasons to turn into memes trading, as memecoins are "for community from community", kind of a fair deal.

Then, from mcap division (majors/mid caps/low caps) we went to different chains division. Now it depends on memes hype: if the chain has a lot of onchain volume and memes that are pumping, base asset will go up!

I showed that on the chart above, look how money flow from $TRX to $SOL, then into $SUI and $APT, as degens chaise memes pumps on these chains!

🎯 Conclusion? The only real way to make money on alts longs is to snipe onchain activity and memes market.

If you see that degens are flowing into new blockchain, just buy the base asset! This way you are kind of following the trend, but not risking buying some degen memes!
