— The authorities had opportunities to contact me directly.
— If a country is dissatisfied with an internet service, usually a lawsuit is filed against the service, not its owner.
— We have made efforts to engage with authorities to find a balance between privacy and security.
— Sometimes, we cannot find this balance, and in such cases, we leave the country. For instance, when Russia demanded encryption keys, we refused.
— Claims by some media outlets that Telegram is some sort of anarchist haven are completely untrue. Every day, we remove millions of harmful posts and channels.
— Telegram will strengthen its fight against the illegal use of the messenger."

✔️ Mastercard and Mercuryo Launch Cryptocurrency Debit Card

🔗 Mercuryo has announced a partnership with payment giant Mastercard, resulting in the release of a cryptocurrency debit card called Spend. The card is compatible with networks like Ethereum, Solana, TON, Polkadot, NEAR, ZKsync, and others.

💵 According to the release, the product is no different from a regular Mastercard. It can be integrated with payment services such as Apple Pay or Google Pay and used for payments through terminals.

Initially, the service will only be available to customers in Europe.
