‼️YouTuber MrBeast Cashed In on Cryptocurrencies at the Expense of His Followers
A blockchain investigator, known by the pseudonym SomXBT, claims that YouTuber MrBeast made over $10 million from a pump-and-dump scheme in the cryptocurrency market.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is considered a highly popular video blogger, with 320 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.
According to SomXBT, he used his influence to encourage his fans to invest in digital assets, which resulted in significant losses for them.
✔️ SomaXBT analyzed the transaction data linked to the YouTuber and found that he bought several little-known digital assets, promoted them, and then sold the coins when their prices surged significantly. Specifically, Donaldson promoted:
- Polychain Monsters (PMON)
- Virtue Poker (VPP)
- SuperVerse (SUPER)
- Jigstack (STAK)
- SHOPX (SHOPX)
These are cryptocurrencies that MrBeast (center) and other influencers bought.
🔽 The price of some of the cryptocurrencies Jimmy promoted crashed by more than 90%, essentially making MrBeast’s actions a fraudulent scheme.
He first pumped the asset prices and then triggered a dump by selling a large amount of the coins.
Additionally, the YouTuber was caught deceiving his followers, as he exaggerated the amount of money he invested in these virtual currencies.
For example, Donaldson invested $100,000 in SuperVerse, not $9 million, as he claimed.
“They [influencers] are pulling off similar schemes in the cryptocurrency market.
If they were doing this on the stock market, the Securities and Exchange Commission would already be on their case.”
Ethereum Eyes $6K Despite October Slump! 🚀
Ethereum's price has dropped 5.4% since the start of the month, but several indicators suggest it’s gearing up for a rebound to $6,000, according to Cointelegraph analyst Yashu Gola.
ETH might be closing its first losing October since 2018, driven by rising competition from platforms like Solana and weak market response to ETH spot ETFs. Still, Ethereum is holding above the critical $2,400 support level.
What could push ETH to $6K?
1️⃣ Strong Support — previous rebounds from this level saw gains of up to 160%.
2️⃣ Institutional Moves — a $1.3B ETH withdrawal from Coinbase hints at long-term interest.
3️⃣ Capital Rotation — Solana may have “overheated,” positioning ETH to lead an altseason.
Will ETH reach $6K by 2025? All signs point to a potential lift-off! 🌕
