The issue is not one of appointing a “deceased” person

We have a strange case of repeating mistakes and opening the door wide to consolidate the state of the street's mistrust of government decisions, although some mistakes are simple and formal, but public opinion is prepared to capture any event and turn it into an issue of public opinion.

The Ministry of Local Administration announced the temporary provincial council committees, which included one of the dead people, and the matter may be related to an employee’s mistake or a name that was inadvertently received, but the justification of the ministry, which held the General Union of Farmers responsible, which in turn denied its connection to the issue, opened the way to exaggerate the situation.

The issue is not one of appointing a “deceased” person, but rather in the mechanisms of selection and scrutiny. What this error revealed hides a deeper problem related to the other people on the lists, their experiences and capabilities? This is what people are talking about, not about the error itself, but rather with what it hides of deeper data and indicators. And more impactful.

The ministry’s response, which includes talking about the approach of institutional and participatory work with the various local national institutions and granting them the freedom to choose their representatives in the temporary provincial council committees, turned into a bomb thrown into the bosom of the ministry after the head of the General Federation of Farmers denied any previous contact with him to announce the lists, so that partnership turned into a charge instead It is one of the tools to enhance confidence and communicate with the street.

Away from this incident, and in the general context, it seems that dealing with any issue, regardless of its size, is a kind of hasty reaction, which puts the official in the face of the street, and this is reflected in the consolidation of the negative perception.

Everyone is aware that the problem of successive governments is a problem of trust, and that the negative mental image prevails. Therefore, any government, whether current or future, needs to restore the absent confidence, and this cannot be expected at a time when hardly a day passes without an issue that preoccupies people.
