Pentas lanceolata is one of the ornamental flower plants originating from East Africa to South Arabia and one of the flowers that diligently blooms. The appearance of this flower is charming so it is often called the Egyptian star because it is similar to soka and has a leaf shape like basil leaves. Pentas lanceolata can grow all the time regardless of the season.

Stage flowers are small and clustered in bright colors such as pink, purple, cream and white. This flower is clustered and forms a semicircle, conspicuous among the green leaves. This flower is similar to soka or hoya flower, but if you look closely, these two plants are different in the shape of their leaves.
