BLURT: One Month Rewind + SPECIAL HF v0.7.3

WITNESS

One month ago, I started my BLURT blocks producer adventure on the blockchain (aka Witness).

Starting from 108^th place, I was very nicely surprised by the welcome I received! You can really tell that BLURT is a very newbie-friendly blockchain and that is a huge plus.

I'm now in 48^th place and I am very grateful to all those who support my application as Witness (block producer). At this rank, my server produces a block every 2 hours, which represents in BLURT POWER:

• 24H/2 x 1.675 BP = 20 BP/day

We can say that this month has been very emotional as Witness :) With a halt of the chain and a patch to put on the server ASAP after its release to be able to restart the chain, or like right now, as I'm writing this post, @saboin has just published a patch (v0.7.3) for the bug that caused the chain to stop 😂 We have a great BLURT Core Team! Thanks to all of you :)

BLURT POWER UP DAY - BPUD

Another very surprising event for me was my first participation in the BLURT POWER UP DAY (BPUD) of @randula

She really does an excellent job of organizing and animating this event, it was a real pleasure to participate in this very fun event, I can only recommend you to participate in the one on August 1st ;)

And what better way than to finish 1st for this first participation 😲 I was very surprised and happy.

BLURT & INVESTMENT

This month I would have bought 85,000 BLURT on Probit.

I bought 17,165 BLURT during the #BPUD and then 67,835 BLURT between the day the chain halted and today, so this morning I made a new BLURT POWER UP of 22,985 BLURT making my wallet reach the 50,000 BLURT POWER

Wait wait wait! Some BLURT are missing there!

You're right, I have a withdrawal of 32.500 BLURT that I made a few minutes before the halt of the chain that remains in "processing" status on Probit. At the moment I am waiting for the result of their investigation (I asked yesterday but it looks like 24H was not enough for them to find why) and the release of the withdrawal.

WHAT'S NEXT

I have a few ideas/projects for BLURT Apps that I need to put on paper. I think I'll stall until the next HardFork (v.0.8.0) is released in August, and to see the direction BLURT will take (graphene, graphene + ..., Cosmos, ...). As a developer, I need a long-term vision. When you create an application, it takes time and an architecture change is never easy for an existing application.
