Reaching the target of 200K Blurt

in blurt •  last year

My blurt power has touched 200k finally. It was my target for the year end but I have achieved it 2 months before only and I am happy. My journey of Blurt has been pleasant. I will not say it's very exciting earning wise but I like this place and hence I choose to continue. If I have to see the value of my account, then it's barely anything. Since the time Blurt has started till now from my earnings my account value is only 700$ which is barely anything for 3 years of effort.

Sometimes I feel that the energy that goes in and in comparison, the returns I get, is it really worth it. This is my honest confession. But then I feel that I like this place so why not keep continuing. I am not sure what will be the future of Blurt. There was a time when Blurt was at 0.03 Cents that was still worth something. If that was the price now, my account value would have been 6k$ , which would have been a real delight. Now it's 0.003, the value has gone down drastically. When prices fall at this level then the level of motivation also falls.

Anyways till end of this year I will surely continue with the same rigor but after that I am not sure, I will cut down on daily posting and possibly do alternate day posting. As it is next year my priorities will shift and I have to focus on other areas of my life. This year from beginning I had decided that I would be committed throughout the year on posting.
Hoping that the price of Blurt moves up in all the upward trend and even though right now the value is less, with the market going up Blurt will also fetch some good returns.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Yeah I made this decision back on hive I was putting in way too much time because it was exciting to be able to generate that income from your creativity but then the token would plummet or ppl would downvote and it would pull the rug and you missed out on building in the real world. All these platforms are way too risky to rely on imo and shoudl take up a fraction of the day even if they are seemingly earning a lot in that moment thetr is no building like on YouTube or building a store etc. the token can tumble or on the downvoting platforms one person can decide to ruin your page and so thetr is absolutely no consistency for an artist or blogger to be able to build anything of real value. I regret not spending more time building that audience I built in other places but can’t look back and yeah I already pulled my time right back I won’t use any apps now like discord or telegram etc but it rly motivated me when someoen said remember tokens are tokens so if you have 1 million tokens it’s still a million tokens and if things go up will be a nice little sum. I always split my earnings too I never left everything in steemit or hive and things like aave lend did rly well for me I never ever regret pulling half that money out and putting some in other things. I do want blurt to do well so I’ll always keep my hand in here but now do it in a way it’s not dominating my time.

Thats very right, it should not dominate your time. I have never allowed it to. Though i am on all 3 still going on, I make sure that this is not the only thing to do. For me right now I am in a place where I cannot start anything of my own so I am making use of this time to build up my accounts.
Also like you I have made withdrawals and diversified in much more stable options.
Income here is very volatile so it can never become your primary income tool.
There are some spoilt beans everywhere, but over a period of time we learn to deal with them. To be very honest I have enjoyed my writing journey of past 6 years on these platforms and I will continue but yes it will never dominate my time and space, it will always be as and when convenient.
Thank you for crossing my path on these platforms, it is always nice connecting with like minded people ❤️

❤️🥰

Congratulations, and I think refocusing your mind on other things would be great. I remember way back during steemit days when everything was Rosy and the price was high. I read some people post on how they left their job for full time blogging on steemit.

They forget the wise saying that never out your eggs in one basket. I guess now the story would be another thing.

As you build your account here also try and have physical asset business of your own you can control. Price of blurt needs more investors to come in for the price to really skyrocket during the upcoming bull run.

Absolutely, you have to have your regular income source and this cannot be one of those. In the investments also its best to diversify. I have also made withdrawals at good price and then invested in much more secured coins. Anyways when it's crypto, there's no 100% safety with any of the coins
