Blurting Out Some Q's

What's up folks?

How's it going today?

Are you doing well?

What's with the random questions, you ask?

I don't know, maybe I'm just bored, or am I?
Did you know that I'm here in this platform for about 4 days now? Did I tell you that I am enjoying it so far?

Pardon my rudeness, but can I ask you a couple of things?
You know that I'm still new here, right? And you know that there are a lot of things here that I am not sure how they work, right?

Can I go ahead with the questions now? Maybe they are in the FAQs already but maybe you can explain in better, don't you agree?

How does the delegation works? It says the more power I have the more I have control with the payouts, right? But is it a good idea to have all the blurt power to myself or should I delegate to some others? And if I should... who should I delegate to? What should I consider when picking out a delegation?

Also... how can my upv have a value? Why do some users have huge blurt impact when they up some posts, and why do others have less?

These are really newbie questions, right? Didn't I tell you before? I'm all for learning, who isn't?

And I think knowing more about this platform will make me enjoy it and be more effective in it, don't you think so?

Hi, Kudo!

Since you are active here, I suggest not to delegate your power to others. It is better to manually curate others rather than delegate someone to curate others on your behalf.

Those who have a huge value of upvote, they are whales. Meaning, they have a massive blurt power. You can opt to buy blurt or just keep on posting. If you have noticed, you'll see 25%-75% when you post a blog/microblog. You need that 25% so you'll have something to pay in every blurt transaction, then 75% to increase your influence. To increase your influence, you need to have a higher blurt power. Your upvote value will base on your blurt power. Thus, higher blurt power means higher voting weight (upvote value).

Woooow!

You just cleared out all the questions in my mind in one swoop.

Thank you so much! Glad to have someone like you here in the community :) 😀👍😇
