Practicing agriculture in west African Nigeria is a very common see you can always come about even when you work in highways. Such that in west African Nigeria we are always advise to practice mixed cropping system. This mix cropping system has been of help to so many farmers local and hybrid farmer. I said Loca because there are some people that generally based their own farming system on some certain types of crops while the hybrid farmers are those people who engage in mix type of cropping system in such a way that they also engage themselves in a white range of Farming activity.
Financially agriculture is attached to a very successful season. Why I also said this is that no matter how you set your aim and objectives as a farmer you need to be financially stable else when you keep some certain amount of money to buy seeds or to purchase organic manual or different type of soil to plant it may exceed your own financial capacity. This is why to finance agriculture it is not a child play. You need to always run your financial flow over and over in order to keep yourself up to date. I engage myself in visiting one of my farmers Friend who happened to visit me sometimes ago last year during the dry season. Now I also returned the visit and I went through the Maize farm which is also mixed cropping system of farming. When you work around even in your own community you see a lot of people go into agriculture in a mixed cropping way. You can mix anytime of scrub and it will surely give you the best production and as you can see it in the article above and below that the Farmer practically shown the essence of attaching different crops on a particular piece of land.
- The planting of maize with cassava or the combination of maize crop with okra plant. It also goes along with each other. I took some few pictures when I was inside the farm few hours ago. The Maize 🌽🌽 Farm was extremely great even seeing it from far And near.
The combination you are saying is of three different types of crops namely means crop cassava plant and also okra plant. You can mix the tree together or even more and they will do their own differently. This is a way of increasing nutrient in the soil and also maximizing crop on agricultural land.
At this point when I got there I noticed that there was few attack of pest and diseases. So its Shown slightly and we discussed about it how to eradicate it finally. But if care is not taking they will spread all over the Maize Farm and also affect the other growing up crops.
Engaging in constant observation of crop is highly necessary for every farmer who is ready to produce food for the community. When you doubt your conscience it will surely bounce back negative. Agriculture always pave way for so many advantages to show for others to see.
Planting of these three type of crop on the same piece of land can also be possible when you make hips or ridges. When you do this it will also increase the nutrients value of the crops on the same piece of land.
