In this type of farming it is hardly for you to see farmers cultivating crop like the curry plant. Yes in the west African Nigeria we are meant to cultivate crops that are daily consuming or perishable crops. This crops ranging from cassava, yam potatoes sugarcane pepper of different species tomatoes watermelon cucumber pineapple apple plantain banana and so on. You can hardly see people going into the cultivation of curry plants mainly but I can assure you that we can all start from somewhere. If in the next 3 to 4 years someone can work up to me to tell me that I will be a Curry plant farmer, I will equally say that its a big lie. But this is how the nature will prove itself even when you are idle or you are lazy to do a lot of things.
Nature has it s own way of proving how natural it is. When I first of all started the planning and cultivation of this curry plant. It was just like a joke because when I saw the seed I wasn't sure if the seed will surely survive in my own Farmland. After a very long process I gave it a trial and I saw it coming out from the soil gradually. After my little observation I went back to the plant to safeguard it from pest and diseases and as well as Cane rat and rodents. And when it started to grow up I kept on putting all my best so that it will grow more bigger and wider. And that was how I started initially. So many people come to me to secure the seed as well as some other restaurants come to buy. This is to show you that there is nothing impossible in agriculture. When you put your best in what you do it will surely give you a very good harvesting produce.
- I took some pictures of the curry plant, how it grow up and likewise the different type of curry plant seed stages. The seed has so many stages if you look critically. When it's starts to bring fruit or seed it will be in a whitish color mix with Green.
I will also say this that I don't normally wait for the rainfall to safeguard or secure my crops. I always go to the farm to ensure a moist moment with them regularly as you can see it in the picture. I always go to the farm to practice what is called artificial irrigation system.

When people are seeing it from different perspective and different angle the usage of the curry plant it will make them to continually plants and make use of it regularly. It is used for cooking of different food combinations.
What you do is after you fetch the leaves one after the other you dissect it or you cut it into smaller pieces then you use it as spices with fish cooking or meat cooking which we also serve as ingredients for your food. Some people actually cook it with green vegetables. While some also cook it with yam, potato, cocoyam and more.
