Hello Blurtters,
In agricultural mindset lifestyle rearing animals techniques, there is what we call agricultural pasture land where you have the privilege to plant your own type of agricultural or none agricultural weed or unwanted plant that you can use as an alternative to feed you animals either as grazing pasture or you go there yourself too cut the weed and use it to feed your animals. This type of act is not too common because so many people do not have the privilege to secure some amount of portion of land to exercise this act. But this is what I have to say on this you can absolutely utilize your space although you need to monitor them closely. Every plant you cultivate will always appreciate when he leave it for a longer period of time. So you need to decide how to treat them and also how to maintain them so that they will not exist their boundaries.
I learnt about this so many years ago when I was in the university learning about all around agriculture. I said all around agriculture because we were exposed to so many about yourself agriculture. The soil aspect of Agriculture, the crop aspect of Agriculture, the experiment aspect of Agriculture, animal aspect of Agriculture likewise, the pastureland aspect of Agriculture and many more. So I was able to learn all kinds of aspect and now I'm able to utilize them as extra knowledge gained. The use of pasture land is absolutely great when you have animals to use them to feed. I use my own to feed the rabbit ๐ฐ๐๐ฐ more. I also engage in bringing in animals like goat into the yard. So this particular section of the farm was where I planted the sunflower plant.
This sunflower is very useful to both Human and animal. So it depend on how you want to use it for the different purposes. It is very bitter but the extraction of the juice can be done perfectly by animals when chewing it. I gave some description of the sunflower when I got there some hours ago.
- They are also so many other weeds or unwanted plants that can be used for the feeding of animal, you can absolutely plant into your agricultural pastureland. You can also plant the elephant grass. It is also an awesome weed to feed your animals. Can also plant tridax.
The moment you start to use this step of plants to feed your animals they will always want more when it is a constant practice. This is why rearing of animals you need a continuous feeding routine. You always need to apply different method to assist your animals to grow well. When it comes to getting them into full maturity state. You need all possible methods.
There is always secret in agriculture so when you see a lot of people having their ways through agriculture they already know much secret to success and to perfect their ways. Although even when you know the secret, you will always face one challenge or the other. So be prepared. This plant multiply and grow much more bigger than what you can even dream of within few weeks.
There are some characteristics I would like to share and why I love it too use it as alternative to feed my animals. It is very best when you search for bitter leaf plant to feed your animals because it has much more advantages it offers naturally while growth and development is going on.
I encourage you that you can always secure small portion of land to arrange this type of weed if you are planning to go for animal rearing and breeding. It will bring more comfort into your farm. You use it as a good alternative for your rabbit, sheep, goat, donkey, camel, cattle, guinea pig, birds,
I planted just some few stands of the Sunflower ๐ป๐๐ป plant and now this is what I have at the moment. The beauty of agricultural mindset farming lifestyle.
Each unwanted plant with it own advantage and disadvantage but it is reduced when you know little or more about what you plant in your small portion of land.
