After a very well deliberation we went to the farm to harvest. It is always more fun when you go to the farm to harvest your produce not remembering whatever thing you have gone through. This is what is called hope. When you hope is what you do as a farmer it will help you and also assist you to give the best when it comes to Farming activities. I took some pictures of how the white eggplant was harvested.
You can always use a very sharp knife to cut it branch. Or better still you can use what is known as sickle to cut it off if you have. That is an alternative. You are not use your bear hands because it may injured you.
It is very hard to use your hand but when you move closer you use a very sharp object to cut it off. The rate at which the flowering stages we pull up will be amazing after you might have harvested those ones that are already fully matured.
- How do you know the eggplant that is when fully matured?
The first thing you will say is that it will be very big immediately you see it and hence, it will also show that the bigger it becomes it will be also attractive to the eyes. Sometimes when you are in the dry season, the rate at which the white eggplant fruit will be bigger will reduce drastically because of the nature of season.
This was when I harvested the white eggplant from its tree naturally. It can be done severally on one particular tree stand only if you take good care of what you planted. It is not an easy task but when you maintain a very good farm hygiene it will work best for you. There are some cases whereby you need to face the reality. The reality being that you must always weed your eggplant regularly. It does not take much time to do but when you also procrastinate it will affect your own farm.
It is easy to procrastinate in all farm sector because you keep on adjourning the farm activity that will would have been done within a short period of time, you keep postpone me the date and the day which will eventually make your work looks more rough. And if care is not taking you will lose a lot of Farm produce as a result of this.
You can see the beauty of Agriculture even in the eyes of the children such that they already have the confidence in building themselves into being a true farmer. I always encourage them everyday too follow their dreams and also learn what profession they have do. By doing this it will also help them to shape their own personal and future career.
After working up and down the farm this was what we got. We harvested close to 5 pieces of the white eggplant fruit. This is also a very good start for now. At the moment we also secure and have more flowering stages.
