Hello Blurtters,
There are so many questions to be asked when you are into crop production as well as animal production or any section in agriculture. This is because if you assume that you already know all I can assure you its just a lie because sometimes what you will know or assume may not be correct unless you ask questions then if you are really lucky you can find someone who will really explain with photography sections so that even when you are not really Reading the article they photography sections we speak for itself clearly. The kind of privilege that is being shown in terms of getting involved in agriculture is a thing that you need to build on it so that even you're knowledge will not be relegated.
Knowledge being relegated means that knowledge that you acquire but in one way or the other you are not making use of it in any way such that even on the field you are not there to practicalize it. What you know may fade off gradually and that is why I always emphasize that cultivation of crop practically or rearing of animals practically is the best even when you read articles on the internet. Planting of crops is not an easy task. I have my reasons for saying this because severally I already planted crops which they do not grow up a bit, later on I went back on my drawing board to retrace why it was so. After much deliberation and practical analysis I discovered that the soil was not too fertile for planting of crops after which I already did a lot of Farm activities here and there. So this is to show that they are a lot to be learned in agricultural mindset. Sometimes it may be the sit that is not too viable. And all your efforts will be at loss. If you want to go about planting of elephant grass or this particular tea grass, you need to also take this good step. what you will be seeing here is what you will need to transplant you into your own farm or garden or your agricultural pasture land.
- If you want to drink tea in the morning,in the afternoon or in the evening or late at night, you can as well jump on the natural tea or lemon grass tea, whichever name you call it is allowed and accepted depending on your own country or native language.
This is what you need mainly. you can cut it the way I cut it or you can cut it in a smaller way or smaller form depending on the type of either kettle or cooking pot you want to use for boiling or cooking it. Then within 10 to 15 minutes of pure boiling at 100° c it's already done for drinking.
If you want to plant it the only way you can make use of it is too transplant the already existing lemon grass tea plant. What I did also to have it in my own farm was to operate it where I saw it with permission granted and it was just a single stem plant.
I cut the plant because of the nature of how its always sprout out recently. Whenever it is been caught this way the lemon grass plant will sprout out in multiple root again. You can always maintain this regularly so that you will have it much in your farm or at home or in your garden.
After you might have uprooted just a single stem or plant from the original with the root strands, then you are good to go. You find a very suitable environment to replant it there gently by digging out a little bit of soil not too deep.
Thereafter, you insert it into the already dug hole and cover it with the top layer of the soil again. You can apply water if you have it around you or you wait for the natural rainfall. Yes. It will never die off even after two weeks of Transplanting.
