The questions to be asked is that we do snails eat fruits? The answer is yes and is very useful to them. I took my time to make so many observations and experiment over the time. All the experiments that was taken proved positive which means that the animal consume fruit. This fruit ranges from mango fruit, orange fruit, cashew fruit, watermelon,cucumber, pineapple and many more. What Really happened is that you need to take your time before you come into conclusion if the snails actually consume it. The experiment and researches I conducted made it to 98% which simply give a very good and positive result.
This was how it started I went to my fruit seller and I made the request of some pineapple which has been cut. I bought some and I was also given some. When I got to the farm I made it into a very flat surface and all it inside the Snail house slowly. After that I also made it a first choice to stay and observe them while eating. It was not an easy task because I stood there for more than 2 to 3 hours. After so many hours they came out from their shell and they started eating. That was how I took some pictures below.
The consumption was not accurate because I have some little ones, whereas I have some medium ones. I also have some big ones. After I also made an alternative with the application of water. I poured a little amount of water into the snail house, this is to ensure that the snail habitat looks moist.
When I started this initiative I had to take down so many things to serve as record keeping. I also took so many pictures. All these are to ensure that they keep fit and also they keep eating.
When I applied a little portion of water they go inside the shell and stay there for so many minutes and some so many hours. But some snails are very friendly. They came out within a short period of time. It is good to rear animals it is also good to have alternative for them in consumption.
I also smashed the pineapple so that it will be easy to access. You may not find pineapple for them but you will also find an alternative which may be cucumber, watermelon, pawpaw etc. They will start to consume it slow.
When you want to practice the animal you can as well go for the snails. They are very quiet and they do not make noise at all. You change the water and also change their feed regularly. This is how I brought up my own snail Farm.
