WHY IS POWER DOWN AN OFFENSE ON BLURT???

Hi good days friends, I have observed that Powering down is a big offense on blurt. I seriously don't know why this is happening. There are some people who powerdown and automatically everyone stops upvoting and I don't think this was stated in the website before sign up. Everyone have their different reasons for being on blurt. Sometimes I need money to buy drugs and even food and Blurt has helped me tremendously but upvote stops immediately. I have seen some whales here who are Powering down their Blurt power and they are still getting upvotes.

if this is part of the rules then it should be stated on the website. People who wants to powerup can do so while others who doesn't want to can do otherwise. Even on discord, it's like there are forces who have decided never to check accounts that powerdown.

I wish I can have good money to buy blurt and powerup and curate too but everyone with their own problems and this should not be worse than some other blogs. Some people make post more than 5 times a day and get upvotes and some post once a day without any upvote.

Thank you.

Hmmm… I think on Blurt there are no rules. You are allowed to do whatever you want with your Blurt.. Power up, Power down, do whatever you want … by the same token the people who are upvoting your posts can also do whatever they want… upvote, not upvote. It’s up to them. I know that people with large investments (stake) in Blurt prefer to upvote people who do not power down and dump their blurt for low prices. So maybe that is why they change their voting habits ??? Just a guess really … Personally I have a very small stake but I have a long term view of Blurt so I tend to upvote people who are actively investing in Blurt and powering up for the Long term. Do you see what I’m saying ?

I understand you but I have seen on discord where people discuss as if it's one of the rules on Blurt. @instablurt seems to force people to powerup. I don't think this should be compulsory to get upvotes. It should be a matter of choice to powerup or down.

It is completely a matter of choice. Just as it is a matter of choice if people choose to upvote your posts. Everything is a choice on Blurt.

I believe instablurt asked people to verify they are real people since it looked like a bunch of accounts were not real people. None of these people confirmed they were real. Not one. And They are all sending their blurt to one ionomy address. Very suspicious activity.

This is totally false. Other blockchains have sold the false idea that to power down is to harm the blockchain, the reality is that if the option exists then you can use it. It is up to each user to use their funds as they see fit. In blurt there are no silly rules, whoever gave you that information has only brought the absurd mentality of the blockchain where if they tell you publicly that if you do power down you will not receive votes of any kind, that is blackmail.

The real reason we aren’t voting your content is because the ionomy memo you are using is the same as alot of girls that have come on Blurt, all with same accounts creation patterns and all powering down and sending to same ionomy address. There is concern these ladies are having their identities used withouy them knowing. Your account seems connected. In any event if you look at my post about instablurt it says votes arent guaranteed and are discretionary. At our discretion we can decide not to vote constant power down users because they are a dump risk for the greater community.

The account buy coins and serve as an exchange And I understand what you have explained clearly. I have started powerup my blurts and will buy more when I have the money. It's nice being here. I cannot under estimate the support I have gotten from here. Thank you for your time and response.

I would encourage people to use official exchanges, also I commented on the posts of some of those ladies asking if they would do a selfie with the word "Blurt" and none replied to me, can can't assume they are real.

Actually, staying powered up was very good advice. I know that lots of people were selling their Blurt for almost nothing a few weeks ago .001 - .003 on Ionomy and Hive-Engine ? Blurt is now up over 400 % People should have powered up and collected their Dig. Maybe Blurt people were trying to help other Blurt people ?
