Happy Thursday morning once again my fellow Hiveans. Market has been gradually recovering and I hope it will not dip on those lows again 😅. Yesterday afternoon my wife and I went out for a other brisk walk and we covered a distance of about 9kilometers and then we went hope early evening. It was a great way to you know, a means of letting out stress from day to day activities at work. Good thing we are both working from home, we can immediately go out after shift and have a walk.. unlike when we were reporting to work before, it takes us about almost two hours before we can get home by commute. So that is one perks imo of staying at home and working remotely.😄
For today's photos I am sharing some shots taken at a remote village called Batad where locals still practice the old ways of farming and living. Most houses here do not have electricity and their houses are just starting to adopt concrete designs while most are still using nipas and woods in their houses.
A view of the terraces from the house we are staying at. Unfortunately I did not managed to capture the bottom part perfectly, I should have included the houses there on the bottom.
A local who is a woman doing a hard job to raise their rice farm, right there she is weeding off the unnecessary plants that are growing by the terraces.
These tourists together with their guides are going down from the hill they have been. They just came from the water falls from the other side of the mountain. I believe these backpackers have been on the trail for a couple of days, they started their trek from Banaue up to this point.
A house owned by a local is also being put on, they are now adopting to concrete houses already.
That is a very interesting home. I wonder if they have internet or even a shower in there.
