if there are "private messages" about "banning people" and "freezing accounts"
we should be informed
Not that, I mean lawsuit, and other crazy things happening. Why the two sides don't just set a meeting and solve everything they have. Why to involve us in that. If they communicated, but not kept arguing in public, this could be solved a long time ago, but from what I see, it's going just crazier.
there's a really good argument that nobody here should be using "private messages" (especially discord) for communication regarding blurt policy
each individual is given the option (via the "mute button") to filter out content they would rather not see for themselves
By muting some important accounts we may miss important information. That's why the only solution I see if they just contact each other and have a good deal finally. Do you see any progress in the public debate ? I don't see it.

My son is also enrolled in a course at Waterloo to learn Python, C++, Ruby and other coding languages … so he will help also.
We will build this all by ourselves. It might take a little time.

I actually think it would be great if your son built this I think it is the kind of thing that somebody new to coding could just work and put all their time into and could probably even get their tutor to help
I can provide contacts like I said to a jerk off but unfortunately I can’t do anything technical and I don’t know if these people would do it for free but if there’s any kind of fund available I can totally ask I mean maybe we could even crowd fund. If I was technical-based I would’ve already started myself LOL happy to provide some photography though

So your saying you want people you want to follow on blurt to only post clix friendly material lol do you realise how that sounds? You don’t want to mute someone but also don’t want them to post what they feel like / want to post. Come on now. That’s like someone saying they don’t want your wife to post vegan stuff cause it annoys them but they don’t want to mute her. Talk about lack of free speech. Ppl want free speech till it’s speech they don’t want generally lol
I noticed this just because you wasn't muted by blurtcast. Again inverting my words upside down. I was saying that I wanted those people to meet and to discuss their issues in private, and you're turning this like I'm against freedom of speech. Are you ok ? Or maybe you like this war to keep going on since you like drama that much. All I wanted is peace.
I think it’s fine if it continues or not and it’s up to the people involved, I believe in free speech and if people want to talk about something on their account they absolutely should be able to do it, if it annoys someone mute is great.

But by having private Discord servers your "miss important information" worry is even worse...
I'm not talking about private discord servers ! I'm talking about the two sides to contact each other and talk ! Why everyone is inverting my words upside down here ? I see two groups fighting, let them have a meeting and solve their problems, that's what I meant ! Or my English is not that clear ?

That's how I feel, my words get turned upside down and inflated 100 times more than it should be, also I tried to meet in common ground and grow Blurt together even if we are at odds, but doesn't seem that is desired. The only desire is to disarm Blurt to have extremely low vote participation, where even their own funds would be at risk and chase off any talent that knows how to support the chain or protect it in an attack.
You can't solve something if one of the parties is adamant it is all or nothing. It continues getting crazier because the party seeking to take over has been ludicrous in their assertions and demands.
One could easily argue that part of this issue has stemmed because of lack of transparency.

Since then Blurt came under attack many times, and we felt it best to limit our attack surface, also not explicitly listing the full team to keep them out of the line of fire, but everything is on the chain.
Do you also not find it strange how the attacker is a Steem/Hive veteran who would know how to read block explorers and see which accounts are voting what, and only came with these demands/complaints 3-4 weeks before the expiry of blurt.regent? He also has been accumulating his stake for a long time, way before I antagonized them with my support for Ukraine, so it is doubtful I am the reason for wanting a clean slate, I'm just a scapegoat.
Me taking advice from Hive is also a flash in the pan, I approached some of the guys I always got along with well and asked if they ever had trouble with this user over there, that's all, people I served with as witness on Steem/Hive that I have no quarrel with, the tin foil hats however have come out to say I'm conspiring with Hive.
