Four years after stunning Indian skipper Virat Kohli as a net bowler, South Africa's Marco Jansen bowled a crushing session on the opening day of the second Test against India at the Wanderers Stadium.
After winning the toss, the Indians were bowled out for 202. Jansen, a tall left-arm fast bowler, completed the triumph by taking four wickets for 31 runs.
South Africa had a 35-1 lead over the other team at the end of the game.
Due to an upper back spasm, Kohli was unable to play in the first Test at Centurion, which India won by 113 runs. He was responsible for one of Jansen's five wickets in the contest.
When Rahul was dismissed by Jansen, he had two for nine in 9.5 overs. The only Indian batsman who choose attack over defense, Ashwin, had a slight blemish on an otherwise stellar effort. He was one shot too many in the end, and he became Jansen's fourth victim.
