As a YALI Member Young African leaders initiative. One of our goals is volunteering and contributing our quarter to humanity. We bridge the gap between government and individuals. one of the reasons I became a volunteer is because I have passion of humanity. I play a role in the society not to make a name but rather so that someone will be happy somewhere. It's like fulfilment of purpose to me in doing so I get satisfied in my inner mind especially with it has to rendering help to someone who can't actually do what I did easily.
My visit to school of the blind that's time was an experience, I waited for my team before they arrived while I was waiting I observed a lot I saw grown up men and women who were among students on school uniform, I noticed they could read I was wondering how? They could speak Good grammar very well even more than the people in the streets. When I looked at them I saw people who were determined to succeed, I encouraged them and we shared happy moments together. We also gave them gifts like tissue, food stuffs, soap etc they were so delighted we came.
An opportunity to show love to the school of the blind is here again our team YALI calls for donor's, volunteers who will assist in cash , buying of food stuffs, toiletries etc in order to contribute to the development of the society as well.
