Introducing Our Newest Curator

Firstly, I want to make known to you the newest member of the Epistem Curation Team. @helengutier2, who is a dentist by profession has been of immeasurable support to the project from when she joined our community till date. These past weeks, she has not only helped in the curation process as well as preparing the Epistem Daily Curation Report, she has also supported the project through ideas and suggestions. She is truly valued and we are so glad to have her in our Team. Congratulations @helengutier2.

Other Announcements

As expected, growth comes with more challenges and responsibilities, and as a community we must be able to adjust at any given point in other to be able to shoulder them. Below are some of the changes.

1. The Epistem Project will now consider Photography as an art. So, you can post your photography related works within the art niche. This is to help us reach out quality authors within that niche as well as supporting them as much as we can. Please endeavor to show that you are the original owner of the photograph by mentioning the camera used and the photograph's resolution.

2. We have created a new category called "Continent" in our discord community where people that are of the same continent can unite and communicate amongst themselves.

3. Due to the continual posting of works not related to the Epistem Niche on the wrong promotional channel, as well as the need to reach out to quality authors who haven't found a community they can belong in, and as such, their quality post are missed during curation; We have created a new channel in our discord community called the "Off-Niche Work" Channel. In this channel, you are free to post any work that is not related to any of the Niches of the Epistem Project. Depending on the Voting Power we have at the moment, as well as the quality of the work you shared in this "off-niche channel", your post stands a great chance to be upvoted by the Epistem Project. 4. For the mean time, the Epistem account will not comment on a post after upvoting it. This is to help us reduce the cost of carrying out our curation activities. Please keep in tab with our project by following the @epistem account. Also feel free to reblurt our publications, so as to help us reach more persons in the blurt community.

5. The Rare Creativity Contest will not be holding this week. This is to enable the EPISTEM project team come up with a better approach that will create an avenue that allows a greater number of the Blurt community to participate in the Rare Creativity Contest. An update on the new criterias for the Rare Creativity Contest will be published within the week. But in the mean time, remain CREATIVE.

Lastly, if you believe in the EPISTEM project, and its vision to promote and grow the blurt community, you can send in your delegations to the @epistem account. Be assured that it will be used to promote only quality contents in the blurt community, as well as encourage interactions amongst authors.
