Despite not posting much nowadays, I just passed 1,100,000 Blurt Power. I would like to encourage my friends (such as @oneray) to join me in the Blurt Millionaire Club! Here is a quick look at how I got here, and a glance at the BLURT price charts.
Brief history of my progress:
After 10 years of creating content for cryptocurrency, I found myself on the Blurt blog, with half a million tokens to my name. Since then I've been creating and curating my way up...
Oct 2022 - 500k
Jan 2023 - 600k
Jan 2024 - 1000k
July 2024 - 1100k
I don't know if I'll ever manage to pump out as much quality content as I did in 2023, amassing 400,000 BLURT during the year. Pushing myself to reach 1 million helped. I think it's fairly impressive I've managed to advance by another 100,000 BP this year on sparse content and inconsistent curation.
Together with delegations, I now have a total of 1.15m BP behind my votes. Even at the rock-bottom BLURT prices lately, my votes are worth about $0.12 USD each.
Speaking of the price...
Price charts
BLURT hit a new all-time low a couple weeks ago (0.00137 USD). While the rest of the crypto market has been moving up, BLURT has been lagging. Maybe it's going to catch up in the second half of the bull market, 2025?
Here's the past 3 years for BLURT:
That shows the only time BLURT was worth more than a penny - during the last crypto bull market (approx Dec 2021).
4 years later would be Dec 2025. In other words, maybe BLURT is just in a "calm before the storm" period, and will break to the upside in 2025?
Even if BLURT only gets back to the price it was in the last bull market, I'll have over $50,000 USD of it. (Compared to what it is now, which is $2000.)

I've been a bit absent due to my new job, where I don't have access to a computer, however, I'm still aiming for the goal of 1 million BP and being in this prestigious club, while encouraging others to join it :) I'm proud of your achievements, and I'm honored to be your friend.
I have noticed your posts "missing" from my feed sometimes, but I know you are just very busy, and working on creating some new content for readers. Way to go @drutter, congratulations on that achievement. I would definitely love to join you in the Blurt millionaires club. As time goes by I will be looking to invest more and more into crypto, fiat is slowly eaten by inflation so what better place to put it.
