Well, I made it to 940k Blurt Power, for whatever that's worth! At this point, it is clear I can't earn enough BLURT to reach my goal of 1,000,000 by December 31st. A miracle could still happen, of course, but mathematically it's not possible for me to get there at the rate I've been going.
My gratitude goes out to my friends, supporters, and curators here on Blurt! None of this could happen without you. My fellow content-creators have also been a part of helping me reach this milestone. Everyone on Blurt is a participant, and all participation on Blurt has an impact.
Can I hit 1,000,000 BP before January 1st 2024?
60,000 BLURT is a lot. I have 40 days. Is that possible? (Short answer: No.)
I just earned 10k in 20 days. That pace will get me to 960k at the end of December. At this rate, I will cross the million milestone in March or April.
I have slid down from 45th to 49th "richest" Blurt account. One of my delegators disappeared, leaving 31.4k BP delegated to me by other users. My full votes are still currently worth about 15 cents (about 50 BLURT) each.
I still intend to:
- reach 1,000,000 BP as soon in 2024 as possible, and;
- end 2023 with 968,000 BP (which will put me at a million total voting power with the delegations!)
It has been a tough go lately for me as a content-creator, which obviously isn't helping. My biggest curator CTime recently decided to stop voting on creators that don't burn a portion of their rewards. That has drastically dropped my earning potential. I'm also still having trouble connecting, to make comments, make posts, and vote. BeBlurt still doesn't work for me. BlurtLatam won't allow me to post anymore. And Blurtblog has still been down for me when I wanted to use it. With no front end working reliably, I can't effectively use the blockchain (or even access my own money). Combined, it means I'm not able to use the platform as much as I used to, and when I can, I'm only earning about 60% what I used to. I'm not complaining! Just recording what's going on for me, in terms of reaching my million milestone.

At the current price of 0.0033 USD each, once we reach 1 million (a few more months), we will have $3300 worth of BLURT! That's not bad for 11 years work.
Hmmmm, that's about 80 cents per day. Each day, you create a vlog or blog, make several comments, and do about an hour of curation. You've put in more time and effort than most people do at a part-time job, working 4+ hours every day, without a vacation in 11 years. The content you create is high-quality, on important topics, and has always been accurate. I think you should be paid more than 80 cents a day, but that's just me.

Don't lose hope and keep your energy and spirit up, anything can happen, but it is very important that you keep your thoughts positive. I hope you can reach your goal, I hope that Blurt stays good for a long time, I hope that the human part of Blurt, what makes us different, stays alive and that everyone can grow in community and creating good content. I also hope that the effort behind a publication is valued more than the money I was able to generate.
However things turn out, I'm glad to have had the opportunity to meet you and see your evolution to the top.
