In order to stay out of the way of larger unfriendly accounts they have to fall in the yes line, they can not provide even an iota of constructive feedback, and their ideas (their blog) is under continual threat of being over-run. How can ideas, innovation, and positive social transpire from that sort of environment! Who knew a Downvote could wreak so much havoc.

How many are there? Is there a place or post that has the daily/weekly statistics @offgridlife?
If you go to All Content / New posts You can count the posts/hour.
I see there are 50 new posts per hour … so that’s 1,200 posts per day.
Comments are probably 10,000 a day. Or much more.
Not bad. This number goes up every day.
I think we turned some heads during the recent platform drama. Now that the whales have mostly stopped their selling, some people are looking at Blurt as a bargain. If we can continue to grow from here, the price will eventually rebound, and all those eyes on us will take note.
Absolutely I know some ppl here hated it and that’s up to them but we got a lot of attention because we had all come here for the anti downvoting then the wallet freezing thing happened. I think then what happened, I can’t be sure as I never look on hive, but I’m kind of assuming they started making negative posts on hive laughing at how blurt is worse and laughing at how we all went for no downvoting then wallets are just frozen willy Nilly. But because so many of us did stand our ground and the freezing did not happen and it really did show free speech can give power to the consensus their laughing at blurt and posting about it might be backfiring a little. That’s just my take. I think that arguing was very very good for blurt ultimately, whatever people say. It showed that we can have free speech here, we can criticise the actions of the platform and we can change things with our collective voice. Some people might want to stick their head in the sand and have no opinion but if everyone does that then they might not like how things end up.
Yes, I agree. Now is time for everyone to come together and aid in it's growth and success. Squabbles over VTS will naturally get worked out as the witness list and Blurt itself slowly grows and changes over time.
The Drama is brutal. It crashed the price from 3 cents to .003 … just awful. These complainers want to destroy Blurt. I have decided to just mute all the negative whiners and Conspiracy weirdos on here. . Life is much better that way.

But yeah, the mute function is very powerful. I use it all the time. I love that you basically just don't have to deal with that person again. No downvotes means they just basically disappear from your view. And they don't even get notified (as far as I know). It's just a quick easy way to remove anything you don't like from your experience.

Stabilize the currency at a good price will take some time, but with work, it can be done.

How do we stabilize the Price of Blurt ? Buy more Blurt.
Now we are asking some important questions! I believe price stability (in a very new and developing space) is a matter of marketing and the other side of the coin... retention. ALSO! Increasing the fun means people want to stay, be active, and hold onto their tokens. If the ride isn't any fun then people sell their tickets to the unsuspecting. If the ride is fun... then who in their right mind would want to sell?
A lot of this has to do with attracting people who value what we are giving them access to... and then treating them really well!
It's all about how user-friendly our blockchain is (fundamentals/frontends/etc.) and how friendly the culture that surrounds it is.
If we take really good care of our Layer 0 (Social Capital before Financial Capital) then those people become raving fans that tell their friends, family, and famous.
It's a virtuous circle... and it works a lot like a flywheel!

It is a more dynamic way of learning about these technological twists and turns. Whoever takes care of their social capital will undoubtedly attract more people with the same thought, and this results in an increase in their financial capital since the latter is a consequence of the former.
However, whoever comes just to make a profit and then sell them because they have financial needs, when they are many people, will keep the price low.
Wise words indeed. I like your business minded and positive approach to how things should be done. Currently I've been putting forth some effort alongside @megadrive and some others to help foster a more positive united vibe here. I've got a really good feeling things are heading in the right direction.

It seems to be human nature. ??? I have learned it is better for me to Just ignore or mute those people. I don’t have time for negative vibes.
I'm curious. Blurt's PowerUP basically decides who directs internal inflation (aka the reward pool) so this is always a downward pressure on the price... Blurt has formulated an intelligent countermeasure to this by instituting a fee structure that actually burns tokens. I'm just wondering, all things considered, what is the inflation factor here at Blurt? @oneray @offgridlife
It will be very interesting to know this and many other answers regarding Blurt. In all honesty, I can say that I don't know many things, and one of them is this question that you just asked and I would also like to know the answer.
Regarding the rates, I think it is a good method to avoid spam, however, if the fee is too high, for those of us who have little and also receive few votes, it would be difficult for us to be able to publish extensive and well-crafted content, taking to create low-quality items because what they get would not be enough for them.
Once it happened to me that I did a PowerUp of all the liquid I had and I had to wait to receive a reward to be able to pay the fees.

I'm confident that the social environment here at Blurt is primed with far better fundamentals than Hive ever had.
People underestimate the drag that the downvote creates. In my mind... it's like how an airplane flies through the air. The Downvote acts to cancel out the lift that's been created with the UPvote... Unfortunately making it possible for larger accounts to own smaller ones in this way pretty much sends any positive social out the window... it's only a matter of time before that erases social lift altogether. Negative is always remembered and positivity is easily forgotten during difficult times. This is pretty much hard wired into every human on planet earth.
I'm glad to be here at Blurt. It feels much different already and I know that we can make positive/fun things happen here! ☄️

You are right... values are the foundations we all stand UPon. Anything that lasts has got to UPhold values that elevate our human state/condition in the long run. Knowing what to stand for determines what we stand on. Values matter because this is what connects us (individually and collectively) to what's truly valuable. Meaning in life makes a life(s)work.
Best thing about engagement is when we can share our values with others at a deeper level than the usual superficial. Connecting at deeper levels might feel like hard work sometimes... but it's completely worth it.
