We have so far had some headway with our bookstore and wanted to share some screenshots from the bookstore with the entire Blurt community. It's some positive news for us, and it took a lot of efforts from the entire BlurtBooks team.
The Homepage
The homepage has been built to be simple and quite clutter free. Apart from the small paragraphs of text there, the Get Started button leads to the sign-up/Login Page.
The background image, and the hover jpg of a few books piled ontop of each other depicts a little of what our mission and vision entails.
The About Us page
The About us page contains our mission and vision statements. Quite scanty at the moment, this would be updated as we continue building.
We would love for users to grab a very quick idea of what we do and why we do what we do in a little glance.
The Trending Books page
This page is designed to hold books that make the most waves on our bookstore. The more purchases your books garner, the better chance it has of appearing on the Trending Books section.
You can also see the prices of the books in Blurt at the top left corner of each book. Quite steep prices right? Just a sample for now. Would be edited once we get our writers' books in.
The "Buy Now" button takes you to the payment page where you can either pay with Blurt token or BBK token. Prices will also be translated into dollars so you can know the worth of a book in dollars.
We'd also be adding a carting system as we continue building to enable you pick as much books as you possibly would want and pay for them at a go.
The books we have there are sample books with their covers taken off Google Search Engine. Once our commissioned writers begin sending in their books, this section will be edited.
We would share more screenies as we continue to build and hope you'd love them and give us maximum support.

This project looks very interesting, in Blurt there are several people who could publish their writings here. What would the process be like for writers, what would the requirements be?
Thank you... We are actually hoping some of our Blurt members can be writers and publishers as well on BlurtBooks.
There are no major requirements really, simply sign up, publish your book and wait to be paid when you make sales.

That's definitely the plan. Make it easy to use, but functional enough to serve its purpose.
