I'm pretty sure that neither of them expressed any gratitude what so ever. Like I said, even if you were there only, Empathetic As Fuck only, for the rewards, it still wouldn't warrant the vitriol and nastiness that is spewed. Yes, you can remark on my use of words, on my tone but my logic is sound.

Buy stake and counter it. Or demonstrate that the only reason you're there is to be rewarded, and when the rewards stop, you're out. Also the idea is that regardless of how large one person's stake is, its not anything compared to the next ten people behind him, so in effect if you get their attention and support, that person's stake is effectively minimized. But you like the rest of the ungrateful won't invest and aren't there to meet a challenge, you're there to be a victim and entitled only to universal adoration.
